The lights were amazing here. We finally got a parking spot and was able to walk around as it wasn't that cold.

We drove through to see the CHRISTmas lights, and they were incredible! Very Patriotic and well lit! It was cold, so we didn't get out and walk around, but saw several that did. Not sure what the park has to offer out of the CHRISTmas...More

Great job of honoring all of the armed forces with lights. Beautiful job. Easy to find and drive around or walk up and view. Love how Pigeon Forge celebrates the holidays.

This park is small but close to the KOA campground and the tram station. I really enjoyed the Christmas lights. It is also near the Mill restaurant and many shops to spend time in.

Getting from Splash Country to Dollywood -not driving (6 Replies)
How do you get from Splash Country to Dollywood, when not driving? Not sure if its possible to walk, seems like on Google maps its a fair distance between the two. We are planning to go to Splash country one morning, and head to Dollywood from there later in the day - without going back into town and our car will be back at Patriot Park for the trolley parking. Does the trolley connect?

Trip Report Day 3 Dollywood shows & more (8 Replies)
Day 3…Monday.. DH and I, along with my sister and her DH, decided to do a day at Dollywood just to see the shows. As we arrived they said, 94 degrees with a real feel of 110 today. I don’t know if they were serious but before the day was over we agreed they had been correct. DH was literally dripping sweat under his oh-so-nice-Grandpa-tee and we all felt zapped. We began with the James Rogers show. He has been around a long time and we have heard much of his material before, but the...More

Rhythm In The Hills Music Festival (2 Replies)
The past 2 years for Memorial weekend we have gone to the "Rhythm In The Hill's Music Festival." (End of May) It has been a 3 day country music festival with some pretty big names. This coming year they have decided to change venue and are taking it out of Patriot Park and are making it a one day event. I pre-paid for some seats thinking that the venue would remain the same and that it would be 3 days again. Well they have decided to make it a 1 day event and combine it with a bluegrass...More

Sounds like this is a major downgrade of the festival. I'd get my money back if I were you. After all, how many "big named" artist can they squeeze in for only one day? I'll bet you'll hate the new "format" anyway. As always, money rules everything and they probably weren't making enough on a three day festival to satisfy them.
