Melton Lake Drive Greenway & Park is a beautiful, peaceful place for walking, cycling, fishing or just having a picnic. Adventure outdoors rents bicycles, kayaks and pedal boats. Playground available for children.

Melton Lake park is home to one of the premier rowing venues in the country. They recently added a lane so that they can hold Olympic qualifying events. International events are held there as well as teams from the south east coming to practice.

I enjoyed a boat ride and morning of fishing on Melton Lake. They dam was open - the rushing water was beautiful! The water was refreshing! The facilities were clean and accessible! We enjoyed a wonderful picnic overlooking the water in the shade!

We were in town for a rowing competition at this park. We walked along the lake admiring the peaceful setting, the Smoky Mountains in the background. The park is clean. There is a pavilion and a playground.

I walked my dogs there yesterday Beautiful views this time of year. Everyone's very respectful of larger dogs compared to other local parks. playgrounds clean and well maintained. My kids played for hours, and the view of the mountains is spectacular
