Walking over this bridge was one of the first things we did when we got to town. It took us right into the heart of the music/bar scene and was a great way to get there. Loved looking out over the water for a little calm before all the madness

Some of the photos connected with this site are not correct, they are from a different bridge in downtown Nashville called John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. The Cumberland Pedestrian Bridge is a nice place if you want to bike, jog, etc. For out of town visitors who were looking for a scenic view of a nice place to chill and look, this was not it. Some of the photos give the wrong idea of what it looks like. You have to turn in at the sign for Wave Country to get to the parking lot. It’s then a long walk on a path with a lot of bike riders to get to the bridge. There is no place to sit and look at the river. It’s not a particularly pretty view if that’s what you’re interested in. The views are better from the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

I loved walking this bridge! Sat on a bench at the halfway point, plugged in my earphones and listened to country music while watchin the river flow by. Loved the vibe so well I did that two days in a row.

The bridge over the Cumberland River is soothing for the soul. Not long from start to finish and if your lucky you see a tugboat going down the river

Great stroll across the bridge for city views. Got some great pics along the way. It was hot but we went early enough to enjoy the area. Lots to see or do in the city but not as nice as East Nashville. Loved exploring the area!

I hate heights. But don’t let this stop you for going on some awesome paths and great picture opportunities. You can take post card pictures off this bridge alone. If you map it, just park for free at the east side in the water park parking lot. Short walk to bridge. Clean safe and what a view. A must do when near the Opryland mall.

Just a beautiful bridge to walk through. Connecting to the Nissan Stadium and you can see the Cumberland river. A plus to See it during sunset

It is nice to have a pedestrian bridge where there is no autos. It is a convenient way to walk from the stadium to Broadway street.

Just to clarify, the actual Cumberland River Pedestrian Bridge is located far east of downtown in Two Rivers Park near Opryland. Based on most of the reviews, it is getting confused with the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Downtown. I can't say anything about the real Cumberland River Pedestrian Bridge but if people are here to learn about the pedestrian bridge downtown, it spans the Cumberland River connecting Broadway to Nissan Stadium and Cumberland Park and it does offer great views of Downtown Nashville especially at night.
