After we walked a little ways on Broadway we finally came up on honky-tonk Central. We found a seat on the first floor close to the band. The first band was so-so, but the second one was so much fun. The beer was cold and the nachos were salty and delicious. There was a queso dip and a salsa dip. The staff all had on masks, and the doors and windows were all open so there was plenty of ventilation. Even though it was only 55° outside, it didn’t feel cold inside the bar.

One of my favorite stops during our Nashville weekend. Fun environment, large enough that is wasn't wall to wall people, talented musicians. 4 out of 5 really only because like the rest of the Broadway area the drinks are overly expensive. I get that it's the market, but it'd be nice if at least a couple of the bars charged normal beer prices. Do love that it's open late.

We were looking for a meal & they were still serving food at 9pm which was great. It was quite loud even at the back of the room but it's a great atmosphere in there when bands are playing. My husband ordered the nachos & our eyes nearly exploded when we saw them come out. The serving was so big, I'm not sure if even 2 people could finish it. The pulled pork burger was good too. We had table service which was great too.

I was told to leave this bar when I politely complained that a drink tasting wrong!

I entered the bar at approx 1245am for a night cap and ordered a Jack and Coke, but the drink tasted strange so I informed the bar tender, she said she had poured Jack and Coke. I said maybe the post mix coke was running low, she poured some in a glass, it tasted fine, she then pour a little Jack Daniels into the same glass, I tasted that and said that tasted fine. I explained that the drink she had just poured tasted very different to the first she had poured. I offered for her to taste the first drink, she did not, instead she said, you are banned get out of my bar and summoned the security guard. I explained my concerns to the Security Guard who was professional and polite, but was still told to leave!

I am a 55 years old and was out with a female freind, we were both polite to the bar tender throughout. The bar tender’s behaviours was inappropriate and rude. We paid for a drink which was not what I had asked for, instead of dealing with my complaint appropriately, taking back the first drink and re-pouring she told me and my freind to leave the bar and even more bizarrely said we were banned! Based on the treatment, I received, I will not be returning to this bar. I would not recommend this bar to others.

For the weekend of February 21-23, I went to Nashville for my bachelorette party and my fiancé’s 7 month, very obviously pregnant sister came with my group of seven. We were hopping between the bars on Broadway and were especially excited to go to Honky Tonk since we had heard such good things about them. Upon arriving, my fiancé’s sister asked where the line to get in started and the blonde, 6ft+ bouncer very rudely said “Back there...” and pointed to a small red tape barrier that had zero people waiting to get in. We politely went through the barrier and handed the men our IDs. This same 6ft+ bouncer said my fiancé’s sister was “Good to go” and as she walked forward into the bar, the bouncer grabbed her arm and flung her away from the entrance telling her “No you can’t go in” after accepting her ID. He assumed she had given him attitude for asking where the line started and therefore, denied her entrance. I went to check on my future sister in law to make sure she was okay and went back to the line. In the approximate 5 minutes I was gone, the bouncer that had physically grabbed this pregnant woman and flung her away from the bar was gone, seemingly as if he knew it was wrong and that he would be reprimanded for this action.

I spoke with the second bouncer who showed no consideration whatsoever. Therefore, we asked for the manager. The manager came out and apologized for the actions of this bouncer. He also said that he will “reiterate to his staff that they should not put hands on or ever throw people from the bar, especially if they are pregnant” He tried to remedy the situation by bringing us in through a side door, but the night was already ruined.

I would highly suggest this specific employee be further reprimanded. This could have easily turned into an even worse situation if my fiancé’s sister had tripped and fallen while the bouncer was throwing her from the bar. This will ALWAYS warrant legal action.

I would like a reply to this review that includes an email for upper management to address this situation specifically.

Broadway is party central for Nashville. Any time day or night, at least that is what it seems. Most often very crowded with tourists, party animals and drunks. It seems nearly every bar has a live band playing and sometimes two bands. If you like noise and being part of a crowds, this is your place. If you like good dining and conversation, stay away.

We wanted to have something to eat&drink, after entering the music was really rhythmic and nice on the 1st floor that's why it was really crowded and there were no seats available, we went up to 2nd floor and there also music was good and a little loud and there were not much seat available. We went up to 3rd floor and music was nice and there were plenty seats available. We sat down and listened almost 2 nice songs and waited someone to say "What do you want?" but there were no one to ask for anything, the singer and friends cleaned up the stage and left, but still no one bother to ask us for drink or food. We had to leave. It was vibrant, nice music, happy people, but we were hungry so we could have more fun if we had food&drink. Well maybe next time.

We went to Honky Tonk Central after dinner to hear some live music and get some drinks. My husband asked for his 4th beer, I hadn’t had anything to drink, and he made the mistake of handing the gal a $50 bill. I guess she was counting on him just stuffing the change into his billfold, because she tried to scam us with the wrong change 3 times. Beware if you pay with cash! It’s too bad, too. We were having a really nice evening until then.

Three floors of live music, great food, and fun times in Nashville! Honky Tonk Central is the largest Honky Tonk on the famous 'Lower Broadway' in downtown Nashville. Three full stories of Honky Tonk Heaven complete with live music, full menu and good times. One of downtown Nashville's most unique experiences.

Very good live music and nice crowd! The band was excellent and the staff was very friendly. This is a must if you are in Nashville and want to have fun

We went here for lunch and got the 3rd floor seat that faces the intersection and a good view of the stage. We had Cory as our server and he did a great job. He was on it at all times. He brought us refills before the others were bone dry. He made sure the orders were right and that we were wanting nothing. The food was great and the prices were reasonable considering the location. We would eat here again anytime!
