Beautiful building to enjoy any concert. We were given tickets to see the group performing as the Beatles which was outstanding. First time I attended a symphony where the crowd began dancing in the aisles!

We booked Lyle Lovett tickets at this venue. When I ordered I assumed the seats behind the music would be as good as in front. Plus I would get a different prospective of the wonderful band. I love the instruments and would feel more a...More

My husband and I recently went to the Schermerhorn for the first time to see Singin' in the Rain - the symphony played the score while the movie was also being shown. It was fabulous! The interior is beautiful, there are really no bad seats...More

A very nice symphony center close and to all the hotels. The interior is striking and no seats are far from the stage.

The sound is great, cannot get better than that, the problem is you are looking at the back of the orchestra. And if there are accompanists such as singers or other musicians, popup only see their backs. Expense wise, it is... More

Looking for suggestions, ideas on clothing options appropriate for the symphony. Taking into consideration the season and style of music to be performed. Going to see the music of Prince, starring Marshall Charloff. It is scheduled for November 8th. This will be my first time to attending a symphony hall and I want to make sure that I'm not under dressed. The only dress I own is a black knee length. I've worn it once. To my husband's funeral. Don't think I will ever wear it again. So, I'm thinking about skinny jeans or maybe palazzo pants. I love beautiful clothes but, rarely buy them because I spend most of the time in work clothes. The tickets are a special treat to myself and who knows how long it will be before I do something like this again. If anyone has any suggestions please help this old lady out!
