Very helpful crew and made my shopping experience easy and simple. Love the styles they carry for toddlers. The price was fabulous. Definitely will be back when i am back in Nashville.

On 2/10/17 I went to Betty Boots (SAME OWNER AS MR HATS BOOTS) in Nashville to purchase a pair of boots as a surprise Valentines gift. We were visiting Nashville with a group of 10 friends from St Louis, Mo. At checkout I inquired about Betty Boots return policy. The clerk showed me a sign and clearly stated that they do exchange only, and no refunds. I told them I could only purchase these if they would allow me to return them with a full refund not exchange, as I was from out of town. I told the clerk and her Manager that my wife was at a restaurant next door, and that I would forego her Valentines day surprise and give them to her now if they would allow me to have her try them on now, and allow a full refund if they wouldn't fit. I told them I would come back to their store immediately if they wouldn't fit. Due to the circumstances, and after a lengthy discussion, they agreed to allow me to take the boots next door and let her try them on, and if they wouldn't fit, they agreed to give me a full refund not an exchange. I paid by debit card and was given a receipt. I went next door and surprised my wife and had her immediately try them on. To her disappointment and mine the boots wouldn't fit because of her high instep. Within less than 10 minutes of the purchase, I returned to Betty Boots and approached the same clerk and Manager that I spoke with prior. I apologized to them for having to return the boots as they didn't fit my wife. To my total surprise and shock, they said they could only do an exchange and no refund. Again, I was in shock and in total disbelief that they wouldn't allow the refund, especially after our lengthy conversation and agreement. This was not a miscommunication issue. In my opinion, this was strictly a lie by them because I was an out of town, vulnerable tourist, that has limited recourse. I chose to call the police to help mediate, as the conversation was escalating to very heated. The police advised me to contact my bank and/or the BBB. I unwillingly left with the boots.

This place was awesome. Nothing like it back home in PA. I bought some really awesome boots for a really great price. The one sales person, Christian, was really helpful. And gave me his personal opinion on what I should get which is great. I'm not an expert in western wear. He also let me hold my boots there(after I bought them) while I finished shopping around on broadway. Overall a great place with great service!

I've been to one other huge boot and hat store in my life (as a kid), and remember it being a ton of fun. Walking into this massive place, filled to the brim with hats and boots, I felt like that little kid again for a few moments.

Husband bought boot here for $99. A great sale price for a pair of Ariat. Ariat is about the only boot made with a great insole for walking. They use a athletic insole. The people who work there are very friendly and know their products. I would shop around when you find the boot you want. Boot places in Nashville will have a quick sale on certain boots. This place had a good selection for both men and women. Would definitely stop by there again on my next trip to Nashville.
