The tour at Olive & Sinclaire was informative and entertaining. It is an impressive shop with a great history. There are plenty of samples to taste.

What luck for us to find this place, tucked in a quaint Nashville neighborhood. The chocolate and the caramels are delicious. They really care about their product and want you to enjoy it too. No expectation from them for you to buy anything but it’s hard to resist the terrific flavour combinations.
Also appreciated the conversation and recommendations for local coffee and dinner places.

Small place, friendly staff. The tour is short as the facility is small, but it was interest to learn how they make small batch chocolate. Worth the time and money.

Visited this store recently on a family trip to Nashville. Although the factory tour is not running right now, the store was open, and they were offering free samples of most of their chocolate bars. Good quality chocolate with fairly standard add-ins like cinnamon and chili, cocoa nibs, and coffee beans. Their duck fat caramels and salt and vinegar caramels were a little more unusual and definitely tasty. Worth a trip!

Everything was delicious and I bought a few fun gifts for friends. It smells heavenly. My favorite was the duck fat caramels. The Pappy Bourbon Brittle was also great.

OK Chocolate Loving Connoisseurs ... Get Ready for real treat!
if you are in Nashville TN you have to visit the Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Company. It is an absolute treasure tucked away in a small neighborhood.
The tour, ( & might I mention we had the Best tour guide on top of that :) the chocolate process & of course the CHOCOLATE will introduce you to people who enjoy bringing true happiness to others with their craftsmanship & knowledge of all things chocolate.
After you taste their unique chocolates, regular store candy bars just wont do.

Anyone who doesn't enjoy this tour is a complete tool/simpleton/walmart wannabe. The review from "Wanda" is a joke. This is a small-scale, artisan chocolate company making extremely high quality chocolates. Unless you like drug store chocolates, that means you Wanda, this place is amazing. From bean to butter, the tour shows all. This isn't the fake Hershey's factory tour (Wanda), this is how real, good, sustainable and respectable chocolate is made. I call this a can't miss if visiting Nashville and even a little bit interested in getting away from all tourist garbage. A short ride away from the noise of Broadway in an amazingly eclectic and progressive neighborhood. Best $5 you'll spend on any tour and education. Something lost on our friend Wanda.

They only give tours in Saturday's. You have to book ahead and they charge $5 plus tax. The cost was not a big deal but the tour was terrible. I expected to see actual chocolate being made and an explanation of the process. Not just a "this machine does this" and someone pointing too it. The tour should "Wow" the customer so that they purchase and spread the word. Do something else with your time and money as this was a huge disappointment.

This place is unique in so many ways. First off the little factory is tucked away in a neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Nashvile. The building is old and gives off this vibe that something special is being done here. There is an interesting mix of modern and antique equipment to make the chocolates. And what we found special is the devotion and artestry that is created to make this Unique Brand of Southern Artisan Chocolate. Chocolate that is aged in re-used Bourbon Barrels, Brilliant! Smoked Chocolate, Outstanding. Well done.

This place shows what handmade chocolates really means. The tour is interesting and ends in a very strategic tasting that leaves you wanting more. The chocolates are delicious and make a great gift. Tours are only available on Saturday, but you can see parts of the process all week long.

As noted on their website, tours are Saturdays only from 10-5 (except noon) on the hour and each lasts about 30 minutes. Tours are $5 per person, which they will redeem toward purchases. They are humorous and educational, includes some history of chocolate with local history. You get to see and hear about the process from beginning to end, and do a little tasting. We saw people that ranged in age from 10 to 60, and all were entertained.
