What luck for us to find this place, tucked in a quaint Nashville neighborhood. The chocolate and the caramels are delicious. They really care about their product and want you to enjoy it too. No expectation from them for you to buy anything but it’s hard to resist the terrific flavour combinations.
Also appreciated the conversation and recommendations for local coffee and dinner places.

This small hometown chocolate company is really good. The staff are really friendly and informative about the products made there. The bourbon brittle and Sea salt caramels were my two favorites. They have samples and its a great little quick stop. It's across the street from the Frothy Monkey which is a great little place for a coffee and breakfast or lunch.

Visited this store recently on a family trip to Nashville. Although the factory tour is not running right now, the store was open, and they were offering free samples of most of their chocolate bars. Good quality chocolate with fairly standard add-ins like cinnamon and chili, cocoa nibs, and coffee beans. Their duck fat caramels and salt and vinegar caramels were a little more unusual and definitely tasty. Worth a trip!

New address is 1628 Fatherland. 7-27-14. They are closed on Sunday, so we weren't able to go in. $5 for tour. Not in downtown area.

Everything was delicious and I bought a few fun gifts for friends. It smells heavenly. My favorite was the duck fat caramels. The Pappy Bourbon Brittle was also great.

This place is unique in so many ways. First off the little factory is tucked away in a neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Nashvile. The building is old and gives off this vibe that something special is being done here. There is an interesting mix of modern and antique equipment to make the chocolates. And what we found special is the devotion and artestry that is created to make this Unique Brand of Southern Artisan Chocolate. Chocolate that is aged in re-used Bourbon Barrels, Brilliant! Smoked Chocolate, Outstanding. Well done.

If you can get here on a day when they offer the tour, it is worth it, at only $5 each. It was really cool seeing how chocolate is made, and how much care they put into making their artisanal product. The quality of their chocolate is superb - some of the best I've ever tasted in my life ! My wife loves white chocolate, and felt their version is the best she's ever tried. I like dark chocolate, and their 67% bar was perfect for me. They had an 85% bar, but if you haven't tried chocolate at that level, it's pretty bitter.
If you are in East Nashville, this is a cool place to visit. It's on Fatherland street, a few blocks east of the Shops on Fatherland, a block with a bunch of fun local shops. And the architecture of the houses on Fatherland (and on a lot of East Nashville streets) is worth seeing.

We enjoy supporting small local businesses. The 40 minute tour was very informative walking you through the bean to chocolate process. Part of the fun was tasting the cacao nibs, chocolate liquor and finally the free samples in the gift shop. Of course, the nibs don't taste like a finished chocolate bar, but if you are adventurous and have a sense of humor this will only add to the experience. We loved the fact that our tour guide actually makes the chocolate during the week so he was very familiar with the process and seemed to enjoy sharing his knowledge with us! Thanks for offering this tour!

My family and I took this tour yesterday and I am glad that we did. The tour was very informative and the tour guide kept it fun. Employees are totally invested into the business and passionate about the history, the process, and the satisfaction of the customers. Very unique products and process of how everything is made. For the price of $5 per person for a tour you cannot go wrong. Couple in if you purchase $30 worth of their products they will take $5 off your purchase. Great tour and products. Will go back for a visit when in Nashville. Tours are only on Saturdays and need to be purchased online prior to visit.

I may be a bit biased because I love anything to do with food and chocolate, but this tour was just awesome! The guide was very thorough and open to answering any questions. The experience was both interactive and informational.

As noted on their website, tours are Saturdays only from 10-5 (except noon) on the hour and each lasts about 30 minutes. Tours are $5 per person, which they will redeem toward purchases. They are humorous and educational, includes some history of chocolate with local history. You get to see and hear about the process from beginning to end, and do a little tasting. We saw people that ranged in age from 10 to 60, and all were entertained.
