Our group of 15 was wowed by the wonderful, authentic, talent. Food was good, catered by Pucketts. Music City Roots is great for families, couples, and priced very reasonable. I compare to the GOO but smaller and more intimate. You won't be disappointed, the show is awesome !

We saw blues, R&B, bluegrass bands in one show. This is a sweet spot & a terrific show. Live radio broadcast like a mini Opry Show. Franklin is a hot little town outside Nashville. Ate at Tupelo Honey before the show & it was amazing too.

Definitely not to be missed when visiting! Better than the Opry! Excellent talent, beautiful building . . . great place to have dinner/drinks before the show. Affordable... I plan on going again the next time I'm in Nashville!

While visiting some musician friends in Nashville, they recommended we check out Music City Roots. What a treat! $10 each for first come seats. We got there about ten minutes before the doors opened and ended up four rows back and dead center stage. We went to hear "Wine, Women & Song" a collaboration of Gretchen Peters, Matraca Berg, and... After hearing about Music City Roots at the Factory in Franklin, my husband and I and another couple went to go listen to some live music. We paid for tickets at the door (only $10!) and listened to a variety of excellent artists...Dustbowl Revival, T.G. Sheppherd, Wine Women and Song and more. No one was pressuring you to buy drinks....you... More

We went with friends. I had no idea what to expect, but we were introduced to 5 different groups/artists - two of which made wonderful impression . . . especially Orphan Brigade. The space is open and airy with food available (we did not eat there). The building houses several stores (which were closed when we arrived). We can't express... More

I came here with a work group to eat the family style food provided by Monelli's and listen to the live music of the night. I recommend the music, definitely not the dining portion. The food and service for this was pretty lame. Music and the show begin promptly at 7pm. The music is filmed for broadcasting for TV and... More

Music City Roots changed locations since the last time I visited Nashville in May 2014 and is now located just a bit south of Nashville in Franklin. The new venue is great. They are still showcasing some great music. Added bonus -there is a FREE shuttle bus that will pick you up in downtown Nashville and return you to the... More

Even those who don't consider themselves blue grass or country music fans cannot help but appreciate the talent showcased in the two hours of Music City Roots performances. Scattered with a little corny banter times, the evening has a real retro radio feel. A totally enjoyable time and absolutely the best value in town. Don't miss It!
