Bluegrass is at home at the Station Inn. The room is cozy, tables lined up in rows with folding chairs. But, you don't come for the decor, you come for the performers. The entrance fee was $15.00/head which is good for a concert. They closed around midnight or so. Would have stayed longer. I only drank bottled water.... driving. Fun,... More

went to the Station Inn Sept 8th old building in a newer district, lots of History of who has played at the Station Inn. If you are a lover of music and in Nashville check it out was great.

The Station Inn is one of the reference entertainment venues in Nashville for Bluegrass, Country and a few other genres, so be sure to check the webpage and see what's on in the evening you intend to visit. The best thing about the Station Inn is the quality of the entertainment, it's my safe bet whenever I'm in Nashville and... More

Glad we went. The free Bluegrass Jam on Sundays starts ~7pm. That is also when the doors open. Beer reasonably priced. Jams were great!

I thought we had finally found a place to enjoy some bluegrass while visiting Nashville! Took an uber ride over, walked in, were informed by the rude mumbling employee at the door that there was a $15 cover charge and no it wasn't bluegrass tonight. We turned around and left. Probably a fun place if you go on the right... More

I've always been a Larry Cordle and Carl Jackson fan as they write, produce, and sing some of the greatest music (bluegrass & traditional country). We went on a Monday night as we wanted to see their show. it was the first time there and admission is only $12, beer 4 and pizza, hot dogs, and popcorn are available. Carl... More

This is an amazing place to sit back, watch incredible bluegrass performers and have some beer. This no-frills bar is what Nashville is all about. We loved it here and were shocked by Ron Jeremy's surprise harmonica performance at open mic night. I guess you never know who is going to turn up in Nashville.

I went to a Thursday night event that was incredible, and then returned for the Sunday jam session. I don't even know much about bluegrass, but I loved every second. Great views from all angles, authentic spot for locals, not expensive. Don't miss it.

Some would call this a dive because it is not fancy. However, I loved it. Went for the Sunday night bluegrass jam which started at 7 PM. People were lined up waiting for the doors to open. The music was great, really cool how the musicians just come and go from the jam. There is no stage really, just a... More

Saw Nashville Celts on a Wednesday night. Small venue, but still plenty of room when the show started. Didn't begin filling up til half way through. Drinks, popcorn, pizza and hotdogs available. It's obvious most patrons came for the music. The crowd was very respectful and the music took center stage until about half way to three quarters of the... More
