We'd already had Yazoo Gerst amber ale somewhere so we wanted to go to the actual brewery. It was a cold day after a snowstorm so we couldn't take advantage of the spacious outdoor seating area, but their inside space on a Friday afternoon (opens at 3?) was not at all crowded so we felt safe sitting at the far end of the room. The bartender wore a mask, as did we while not sampling beers, and all the beers we tried were very good .They have a broad selection so there is a beer for everyone there. The only food available is just bar snacks so don't expect to be eating a meal there, just get a pretzel and a beer. Beer samples are free, btw.

Nice new location. The old one was in a good spot, but this new place has great potential. Like the clean lines and outdoor area overlooking the River. Super-relaxed and friendly, helpful staff. Glad to see them in a modern, updated space.

Beer is absolutely fantastic. The open space and games give it a great hang out feel. Dog friendly is a big plus. We took a tour that was top notch. Tour guide Tyler rocked it.

I bought 14 tickets for their tour. I found out I only needed 11 tickets so I asked for a refund and was told no even though there were people still wanting to buy tickets for the tour. They would not give me the tickets I paid for and they made the three people who paid for other tickets wait 1 1/2 hours to take the tour. Lousy customer service for me and the people who waited 1 1/2 hours. The tickets are only $8.00 each, but it is the principal. I did send this comment to the brewery 5 days ago and they never responded. I guess they are desperate to sell tickets.

So if you take the shuttle or Uber to Division Street, THEY AREN’T THERE ANY MORE. THEY MOVED. Some reviewers talked about the old life cation, but I assumed the address shown was correct. They are not on Division Street, and they are not in Nashville. Double check before you make arrangements to go there.

776chuchd, Sorry you made the trip to our old location. We've requested that Tripadvisor change our address in our listing, but it takes time for their administrators to update it. It's not totally in our control. Thanks,

I would like to preface this by saying that we are long time patrons. Even going back when Yaz was located in the original location, very small, more intimate, with lots of ambiance, loads of character, spirit, and an incredibly wide range folks of 20 something's to the older, grey haired set in their 70's. Don't see this now though. Beer has been the same throughout the years and has retained all of its fine qualities, they are not chintizing on their ingredients. Actually, great to very great in comparison to some of the better craft guys in the northwest and northeast. Keep making great beer Linus!

Our time at Yazoo would have been better spent in their Tap Room, which was a standard brewery bar. Fantastic. Unfortunately, we took a tour with Jamie, whose monotone voice and not-funny jokes slowly lulled us to sleep. She had literally no enthusiasm and there was no group participation. I would pass on this if you're only in town for a weekend.

Came to Yazoo Brewery after our plane ride from San Diego, CA and had a great time. The beers are awesome and the people are all very friendly! Their brewery tours are $8 and are always informative and end with some samplings of their craft. They offer snacks for purchase and also some of Yazoo's signature products. We recommend visiting this brewery for a good time while in Nashville.

For a reasonable price of $7 for a tour of the brewery, you get an up-close and informative look at how these craft beers are produced and a collector's glass with three samples of their beers. We had purchased our tour tickets online the day before, which was probably a good thing, as the tour was full. We arrived a bit early and thought about ordering a beer while we waited. They have a fairly large bar area full of tables, as well as some outside seating. Fortunately, I heard someone talking about how large the samples were, so we waited -- the samples were each a generous half glass. Since it was a 4:00 tour and it had been hours since lunch, we were glad we had waited for our beer. My favorite was the hefe. They only distribute to neighboring states, so if you live elsewhere, you'll have to stock up or enjoy it while you're visiting. This was most definitely a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Yazoo started operation in the old Marathon Motor Works, an terrific building in a seedy neighborhood next to the interstate. Now they have moved to the yuppie-ridden "Railroad Gulch" where there doesn't seem to be much free parking. I guess that is a good trade off for no muggers. You can sit down for a drink of their excellent micro-brewery beers or you can bring your jug for a take out batch. Well worth the trip if you like different beers on draft. The old place at the Marathon is now occupied by another micro-brewery AND a new distillery.
