Overview
More
Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 200 plus acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery, Natchez Hills Winery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek. Open 7 days a week...Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Beautiful house, really cool. Steven was our guide - first class. Lots of memorbelia from Big and Rich, BB King, Alabama. The tour was just over an hour, went quick. Worth the $24/pp. I am NOT a country music fan, however, this was worthwhile to...More

Well worth the visit for the history and of course the stories and artifacts of the country artists on display. Our guide was brilliant and even sung to us.

Pretty good brunch... Not the best ever... food was looking a bit tired as we were at the 3pm seating which was disappointing. I tripped down the narrow stairs so when i went to use the elevator... it was broken. Desert choices were very limited......More

Having grown up watching Barbra Mandrell and her sisters perform on television, I was looking forward to seeing her home and hearing about her. That is not what this is all about. She is barely mentioned throughout the tour. The house is impressive from the...More

We appreciate your opinions about the tour and your mansion experience. The Mandrell family doesn't have any ties to the home anymore so therefore we have transitioned the tour to the now honors and their success stories since they are the now owners of Barbara's...More

To see the size of logs required to built such an expansive (and expensive) house of 33,000 square feet is absolutely amazing. Good tour where they let you enjoy by touching and holding!

The changes that have occurred in the last year at the Fontanel are mind boggling. Gone are the endearing stories of the Mandrell Family, the family portraits on the walls, and the beautiful statue that once stood in the pool room. The personal effects in...More

My boyfriend and I toured the mansion. We had a wonderful tour guide who was full of information and made the trip very pleasant. He even remembered all the people's names who were on the tour. Very impressive!
