Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek.

To learn the history and all of Barbara Mandrell's family home that her husband and son built with help was so amazing. This 33,000 sq. foot home is so big and spacious but set out I the woods for privacy. It is an interesting tour and Bradley was an excellent tour guide, as well as musician!. We thoroughly enjoyed our... More

We're so happy we did this tour. It starts with a short shuttle ride to the home, about a mile away. They drive past the outdoor concert venue and through the woods to the home. We had a wonderful guide who also was a singer/songwriter, he sang us a song and shared his story with us when we made a... More

The Fontanel Mansion was a great day out but the guide, Steve, made it even better! It was an amazing home but Steve made us feel so welcomed and special being there! He sang a song on his own for us in the great room and then did a duet in Barbara's bedroom with Janelle! I would recommend the tour... More

My husband and I toured the Fontanel Mansion (previously Barbara Mandrel house) It is a 27,000 square foot mansion with a lot of original furnishings from when the Mandrel's lived there. They let you take pictures with the celebrities guitars, you are allowed to sit on the furniture and take pictures. The guides ar very informative. You will not regret... More

We had a family birthday party here, complete with music and line dancing. Everything was perfect. The dance floor was built over the swimming pool and is translucent and lit from below.

The home is interesting inside and out. The mansion is truly what it says it is. The gardens and area are all in addition to the wonderful art and architecture of the old home.

I've lived in Nashville for 2 years but hadn't been here. I'm so glad I went!! There is so much history to this place. Barbara Mandrell built a beautiful home and the tour guide told amazing stories of her and the house and the people who have visited and had dinner or played music in the great room. This tour... The new owners have incorporated additional artists into the décor of the house. You hear stories about Barbara and are actually allowed to touch certain pieces in the house. You have to remain with the group and there is a time constraint in seeing the house. Your tour guide is an aspiring Nashville artist who will perform for you. Some... More

I was a little skeptical initially, but my wife wanted to visit the Fontanel during our long weekend in Nashville. It turned out to be very interesting and well worth the time. Fontanel is about 15-20 minutes outside downtown. There is a small distillery and a winery on the property. (There is also a very nice Inn, which we did... More

We are old enough to remember Barbara Mandrell and watched the TV show featuring Barbara and her sisters, but this is not a prerequisite for visiting Fontanel mansion. This tour took us inside Barbara's former home and gave us a glimpse of the opulent lifestyle of a music legend. The home is actually a huge log cabin set carefully into... More
