Peaceful retreat

Nice trails and views of the lake. Take some time to walk the south lake trail as it is less traveled and offers nice scenery and a good workout.

This is probably my favorite park in the nashville area. Lots of hiking trails for all levels of fitness, abundant wildlife. I would say if you go during the summer to get there early in the mornings because it is very popular and parking can be limited.

Beautiful quiet trails around a gorgeous peaceful lake. Great place to enjoy Nashville's hills hidden away but close to Highway I-65

I have only been to Radnor lake once but I would definitely go back. It is a small lake and nature sanctuary in the middle of south Nashville. We took a long hike circling the lake and spent about 1 1/2 hours feeling lost in the middle of the city. Definitely experience!

I visited Radnor Lake for the day last summer and it was beautiful. You can drive right into the State Park and park close to lake. There's any easy path that follows the lake around that takes about an hour to walk (at a leisurely pace!) A great dip into the countryside and only 20-25 minutes from Nashville. The views... More

When you need a little time outdoors to sort things through, this is the perfect spot. Trails range from low and slow to high-up leading along the ridge. Centrally located and a lovely drive from Nashville down Granny White Pike. No pets or picnics, but the Welcome Center has clean restrooms and cold cokes.

One of my favorite little hidden gems of Nashville. Radnor is a beautiful place to walk and/or hike! There are multiple trails for every level and I have never been out there without seeing at least 1 deer as well as lots of other wildlife! Highly recommend it!

Lovely park, great for a walk, especially in the fall. QUIET usually. No bikes allowed, wildlife is all over the place. Not uncommon to see deer, turkeys, tons of squirrels and chipmunks.

We took some friends who had never been here before, on a beautiful fall foliage walk. Besides the pretty changing leaves, we saw some wildlife, as well. A great place to visit, anytime of the year.

Gorgeous! Has several walking/hiking paths. You might expect to see some deer, turkey, and turtles. They have also opened a new aviary which had a vulture, eagle, and another bird of prey. All these birds are recovering from accidents and are being rehabilitated, some will stay their for life!
