About Rabbit Circle
Visit us just outside of Nashville, Tennessee and discover what it means to be a traditional farmer in a modern era. Our farm tours are designed to share the unique culture that embodies the American South. We aim to connect farm-curious food lovers with farmers, ranchers, and craftspeople of rural Tennessee. Our guests see firsthand how food is grown and hear from the hard-working individuals who bring food to tables everyday. Our family has lived and loved the land of Robertson County for generations. We know the roads winding between various family farms better than the back of our hands. Born Here. Raised Here. We love to show off our roots. Tours offered daily.

Amazing view of the real rural Tennessee, hosted by Jen, a smart natural story teller who brought the history of dark patch tobacco to life, for us , while we rode around Robertson County, meeting her neighbors, local farmers and citizens of a unique area of Tennessee. It’s a must see for any visitor who comes to Nashville. I promise, you won’t be disappointed!!

Highlight of our Visit to Nashville! Easy, less than 30 min drive from Nashville. Get ready for a look into The history of dark patch tobacco farming and much more. Jen will tailor your visit to suit your interests. Fun. Intelligent. And, a refreshing opportunity to learn more about what it’s looking like in this unique area. Great lunch at a local lunch joint. Very memorable.

Owner and tour guide, Jenifer, is the real deal. With her generational line extending beyond Tennessee’s history she is a true local. Literally made up of the dirt in Robertson county. She not only knows where everything is but knows everyone! As we wandered around the backroads I heard story after story. I had no idea the area was so rich in both history and soil. Setting up a tour was seamless and she was very accommodating with my last minute request. I was searching for barns in the area for an art project. Not only was my tour a success, but we also drank fresh cows milk and had one of the most delicious lunches. I highly recommend anyone to take this tour. It is more important than ever to connect with our roots, farmers, and food sources.

Jennifer was a wonderful tour guide. She seemed to be very knowledgeable about her local area and displayed a strong sense of community. We received a great insight into traditional farming in the modern area and were amazed at how labor intensive some of the practices were. Jennifer kept us entertained with her sense of humor and was a great story teller. She introduced us to some local farmers who shared their experiences with us and, as a group from NZ, we were delighted to meet a woman who had travelled to NZ and was eager to share her experiences with us. We lunched at a local cafe and enjoyed typical Southern hospitality and left, at the end of the day, feeling that the experience was well worth the money and time.

My intention for taking this tour was to get an idea of what farming in Tennessee is like, and the tour definitely delivered. It seemed like half the time we were literally driving through the backlanes of farmland, getting up close and personal to the crops and equipment in a way that you could never achieve without having a local guide. Was able to see a variety of crops that I'd never seen grown and learn a lot about the physically intensive process of growing tobacco. Extremely informative, and Jennifer the tour guide was very informed and personable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape the touristy schlock and learn a bit more about a unique area of rural America.
