We were in Nashville for 5 days, staying downtown. I was looking for a place to run (did not want to run in the heart of the city) and Shelby was recommended to me by someone who lives in the area. The park and trail...More

We took our road bikes on this trail, and were SO pleasantly surprised at how awesome it was! It was extremely clean, with zero garabage, not too busy, and quiet. We were able to ride at an acceptable speed which was nice in the city....More

If you are tired of staying in downtown area, this is a place to go. It's not far from downtown area, just 4 miles away from Cumberland River Pedestrian Bridge

Navel Hill Disc Golf Course. Nicely marked, concrete tee pads, disc cart friendly, more open than wooded, clean and fun to play this course!

So close to downtown, east Nashville, and the hubub of city living, here's another oasis of cool, leafy paths you can bike or walk among. Plus, it's free. It tends to be fairly underpopulated, even on nice days, so this is a gem of an...More

This is a small city park no problem with that. To me they have lots of trails but no clear good view of the river. Which is kind of a shock. They had a boat ramp but there where people hanging around that area and...More

I ran along the trails on a 5-mile run from 12th St. in East Nashville, it was extremely pretty and well maintained... but I expected that if the trail was along the Cumberland River you'd actually see it. I may not have run far enough...More

Nice quiet place to walk, run or bike. It's pretty and there are several places to access the trail. It's paved, and most people respect the "stay to the right" rule. I walk there all seasons of the year.
