Bar after bar with food, alcohol and live music! Many with rooftop bars, which are great for the open air and views. A lot of souvenir shops, too, and shops selling cowboy boots and hats (I had to get a hat!). A lot of fun!

Be warned if you drive into downtown when there is a concert prepare to pay a fortune in parking fees. Also other than bars there is not a lot of places to eat. Some streets are not very safe at night to walk by yourself.

We were told to hit Broadway when we got there, we went there.. we had fun, but we felt it was too touristy for us.. tons of neon, bands on every floor of every bar. Lot's of bachelorette and bachelor party groups. Tour buses, pedal...More

Loved the atmosphere downtown Nashville. Lower Broadway and the surrounding streets and shops are great. Can't wait to go back. I had heard the term "NashVegas" and it lived up to it. It was more fun than Vegas to me.

The Strip is just magical , what an atmosphere with one terrific band one after another in each bar. Now the bars are a bit rough and ready but ... Just great people , great time .

Not so much dress codes for bars, but some dinner places do say business casual, which means jeans are ok, but men cannot wear sleeveless shirts, flip flops or shorts. I guess women don't need a list of DON'TS.
