Walk around , music blasting from all the entertainment. Stop in and listen for a bit and go on to the next. There were lots of people singing on their own in the streets. Yes there were some homeless asking for money. Lots of places to eat and gift shops also. There is also the park that is at the... More

Wow, I'm originally from a large city, and I was blown away by how many people were packed into the downtown area! It was crazy! There were a huge number of "bridal parties" running around. There was all types of music going on -- sometimes on different floors of the same place. Parking is a chore and expensive. Might be... More

Since moving to the Nashville area from west Tennessee we have visited the downtown area quite often . From its many restaurants and honky tonks and lots of music venues people often forget about historic landmarks and museums. So come on down and have a great time

This was our second visit in 18 months to Nashville. If you enjoy live music - this is the place! We were in town for the Guy Clark Celebration at The Ryman on August 16. The evening was outstanding with so many legendary performers celebrating the legacy of the late Guy Clark. We also visited the Country Music HOF mostly... More

You have to go down to Broadway St and experience it at least once! The drinks are pricey and it's crowded but the music and the atmosphere are fabulous. Most bars are 21+. We were there early enough that most had not started charging cover yet, but a lot do! You can walk down by the river or do a... More

Great time at Crazy Town and Tootsies. Tootsies was too crowded and drinks were expensive. Tin Roof was great. Also Cooter's place a couple miles away was a fun time. And the bar/grill next door was fantastic and the prices there were $8-$10 for entree and sides. Loved that and the live music.

It literally is a bar every step u take. Some have three floors with a band on every floor. ALOT of bachelorette parties going on. Basically it's just one big party for 3-4 blocks. Lol. Have to experience it once in ur lifetime. Don't have to be a country music lover either. Play Rock too, just no clubs with tech... More

Plenty of shopping, music, food, drinks, and fun to be had. Kids may have a hard time with some of the crowds, but there are plenty of kid friendly options. If you don't have to drive into downtown take an uber or walk.
