Downtown Nashville offers shops and stores for every interest and unusual restaurants centered around stockyards, music, and the fares of just about every country in our world. It has lights, sounds, and shopping, some of which are complete with street musicians. The museums offer music star paraphernalia, baby boomer era memorabilia, and some are even free. Lots of photo ops,... More

Had a great time perusing the Country Music museum, Johnny Cash Museum, and listening to great live performances at one of the many bars that do open mic.

Spent a couple of nights Thanksgiving week visiting downtown Nashville. Lots of bars and honey tones, but lots of beautiful municipal buildings, projects and outdoor concert venues. Lots of beautiful architecture being built, even as we speak. Attended the Opry with a church full of believers. Ate dinner at The Old Spagetti Factory and even found the Cupcake ATM. Fun... More

Music in almost every building on broadway. People partying and having a good time. All kinds of music, food, fun. Shops, specialty stuff, music, food, bars, karaoke, more food, more bars, more music. Did I mention food and bars? I don't drink and I had a blast.

Such great music in every bar, great vibes, fun shops, candy making store and places to eat. Music everywhere - even on the streets. We intend to visit again in the near future.

I have been to Nashville 3 times. Once for work at Vanderbilt University and had 1 night to visit downtown. It was so much fun that I planned a girls weekend. It was a blast. A lot to do in a small downtown area. Music is exceptional in every bar. Felt very safe walking around. Returned this year for a... More
