Hands down the best experience in Nashville.  The tour encompassed historical sights and areas of Nashville that would have taken us all day to find on our own. The guides Chakita and Ogden shared many historical nuggets about the places, people, and culture of Nashville and American history. They were relaxed, friendly and very informative. I highly recommend this tour for everyone!

This was a great tour and I enjoyed learning how women were instrumental to the Civil Rights movement for more than keeping house. Ogden is very soft spoken, so as a listener it forces you to pay attention to not only your surroundings but the dialog being shared. Thank you so much - we will be back for more of the other tours.

Great story tellers! I highly recommend this tour. You’ll learn stories that you won’t normally hear about Nashville.

Very disappointing. The guide’s knowledge was very superficial. We started 20minutes late, as the guide was not at agreed meeting point. The tour was advertised as an hour and a half but took only just over an hour. It did not finish at Capitol as advertised. It was very expensive and did not offer value for money.

Chakita was so engaging and awesome to hear provide this tour!! She was authentic and very knowledgeable. I brought a group of high school students and they all were listening to every word. Would love to do a different tour with her!

I had a amazing time and learned a lot! They were very knowledgeable about the history! Wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes! I felt safe at every location we stopped at. We went over the time allotted and they were very patient. ( thank you a million) Very entertaining and not your average tour! The only suggestion I would have to give is to try to make the ending place where the tour began. Although we weren’t that far from the starting point, we were able to find our way back easily and enjoyed some amazing soul food when the tour was over. (Disclaimer: the food was not apart of the tour, we ate afterwards on our own and the guides DID ask if we knew how to get back)

First, the information on the tour was perfect (what everyone should expect from a walking tour). However, our tour guide was amazing. Her gift of story telling, ability to make the historic events personal AND keep us warm and moving among the snow flurries was incredible. Chiquita’s passion kept us all warm and laughing!

Very informative tour! Learned a lot of new things about music, pioneers, and the HBCU’s surrounding the Jefferson street area! Chikita was very friendly and enthusiastic!

This was a fantastic tour. The walk is easy and Chakita tells delightful, informative stories along the way. She truly makes Jefferson Street come alive and the energy of the area from years past was felt. We loved everything about it.

I did the 1 hour tour, but if it wasn't so cold would have gone longer. It was a great, small group. Chakita's personality makes it a really fun positive experience for everyone.
