My daughter and I took the class that was offered to make our own Goo Goo. I was hoping for more of a tour of them making the clusters and a little more of the history. We watched a short video and then we started working on out clusters. It was a fun time but really short for the price. It was listed as an hour task but we were done in around 35-40 minutes. They did give us our aprons and an extra cluster to take with us.

There appeared to be a candy seminar going on in the back but no one offered to sign us up. The candy here is over-priced. I think we paid $6 for a three pack. You can buy Goo Goo Clusters cheaper in the store back home. Just a tourist place to promote their brand.

We were told to get a goo goo cluster when we visited Nashville. The candy shop is across from the Johnny Cash museum. It is a mound of marshmallow nougat, caramel and fresh roasted peanuts all covered in real milk chocolate. It is a sweet sourthern tradition, so we had to try one. You can buy single ones. They were okay. Not my favorite, but when in Nashville...

My husband, my adult son, and I took a Taste of Goo Goo Class at the newly-renovated Goo Goo Shop during out recent Christmas trip to Nashville. The remodel has made for a spacious store that is quite lovely. They have a new feature where you can design your own Goo Goo Cluster at one of their self-serve kiosks and then watch it be made through a window in their factory, but we did not try this ourselves. Pros of the rennovation seem to be that there is more room to move (and socially-distance), and the kiosks offer an inter-active experience. Cons are that variety of products seems reduced, prices seem higher, and unfortunately the delicious desserts that the old shop had are no longer offered. However, they do still sell cookies and milkshakes, which facilitate a more COVID-friendly flow of patrons than the old indoor eating did. As for the class, it was enjoyable. There were between 12 and 15 people in our group. Work stations normally have two or three people per station. You wear a hair net, gloves, and an apron while you work, but the eating makes masking difficult. Each person gets a mini Goo Goo Cluster to eat at the beginning of the class. Then an instructor with a head set (so you can hear really well) shows a short film about the history of Goo Goo. After the film, each person is allowed to come up to the front of the room and choose a set number of fillings and toppings from a variety of sweet and savory selections. The instructor explains how to add them approriately to the pre-made chocolate mold at each station. Then students come back to the front of the room to run the mold under the chocolate fountain and seal their cluster. While it sets, you are given markers to design your own Goo Goo packaging. Once it is finished, you get to take your creation home in a nice box along with a "free" pre-packaged Goo Goo and the really cool totally reusable apron you are wearing. It's an easy class, and, as long as you can listen and follow directions, anyone can be successful. The whole thing lasts about 45 minutes. The cost is a bit expensive for the product you get, but if it's the EXPERIENCE you are looking for, then it's a fun time.

Really enjoyed getting a sundae here with goo goo bits and choosing sauces and toppings. No samples to try in the shop so if you have never had a goo goo before you may not be as tempted to buy anything. Loved the original goo goo the best

Goo Goo Clusters are outstanding but certainly pricey! They are in the class of something for a special occasion.

We just spent a few minutes in the shop, buying a few clusters. It was quiet mid-afternoon. Kids will love it.

This was not a planned stop until we reached Nashville and started hearing about the famous "Goo Goo's" so glad we went in & spent the money to create our own "Goo Goo's" a little pricey but the experience was worth it

I was looking forward to this stop. I was disappointed. Their products are downright highway robbery. $2.00 for a small Goo Goo bar is ridiculous! Left without purchasing anything. Sad.

We heard about this place from a friend and just had to stop by when we visited Nashville. The shop is located just off of Broadway on 3rd Avenue. It’s a gift shop, ice cream parlor and so much more. You can register for a workshop where you learn to make your own clusters. We walked away with a few sweet treats and some great photos of the Goo Goo wall. We can’t wait to go back for more Goo Goos!
