Broadway is a great place, but Robert's Western Wear is a true gem. We were in Nashville for three days and went back there three different times to listen to the great music. They also have great old fashion greasy burgers. A definite must visit if you go to Nashville.

We visited Nashville for 3 nights at the start of our Americana music road trip and based on recommendations from musician friends we visited Robert's. It was so good we came in every night! For us, it had the best traditional country music you could hear on Broadway from the likes of 'The Don Kelley Band' and 'Eileen Rose &... More

We wandered into Roberts just by chance. After about 15 minutes we managed to find a table and were suprised to get table service. Then the band started up and the party began. The music was fantastic! The bass player was amazing and we had so much fun.

Having asked the advise of a number of locals we headed to Roberts, which we just loved! We did try some of the other but returned to Roberts as definitely the best music bar in town. Mind you I wished it had closed earlier as the following day was a struggle .... Go have some fun ...

We stopped in here and didn't leave. Music was great with several different bands playing throughout the afternoon and evening. Beer was cold and staff was great. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day. Give them a try.

We had a great time at Roberts, we went there three times during our four day visit! Excellent grilled cheese sandwiches and such talented musicians. Check out Pork McElhinny if you can. Does get very crowded so get there early.

Music is terrific. We stopped here on our bar crawl because of the history and because of the food. Mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries hit the spot. The food is basic, but you're sitting in history. Service was terrific--very friendly even though it was crowded. The menu is small and you may have to wait a while for... More

We had time to kill on a Sunday before departing the city. We asked our brunch bartender for a recommendation of someplace chill for Sunday afternoon drinks, and they recommended Robert's. They had a menu item called "the recession special" which included a grilled bologna sandwich, a PBR and a bag of chips. We absolutely had to have it, and... More

Tootsies just a few doors down may have slightly more character (and, frankly, used to be my favorite) but Robert's is also oozing with character AND has a killer house band most of the nights. Many of the clubs use "pick ups" of local musicians, often gigging together for the first time on a given night. Roberts' band plays together... More
