The Guitar Build Workshop was one of the most fun, unique and interesting experiences!!!! Josh is so talented and passionate about guitars and building them it really shows throughout the course. I don’t play guitar or really know anything about them but I got to sit in while my husband created his. So if someone in your party maybe isn’t so excited about guitar building, please know they will enjoy themselves as well. It was so fun just to sit, chat, and watch as a carving of a guitar transformed into something one of a kind and beautiful. There were so many options to choose from you can truly make your guitar one of a kind. I’m so happy we spent the day taking this course and learning new things. The look on my husbands face says it all, book the course!! It was an amazing experience.

Josh Hurst has an amazing shop and provides an incredible experience. My wife signed me up as a birthday present. Josh was fun, laid back, and full of information. Not only was it fun to learn and build, but I came away with a great playing guitar! Whether you're visiting or local, this is an experience you'll find nowhere else in the world and a must for everyone.

Decided to reward an employee with something different and this ended up being a lot of fun! We really enjoyed the process and I got a peek into their interest in guitars. This was outside of my comfort zone since I don't play guitar but still really enjoyed creating my own too! Now maybe I have a reason to learn!

My cousin and I took the workshop on December 21st, 2019, the day before I turned 50. Building a guitar is something I've dreamed of for a long time and my wife made it happen. Josh is an amazing guy. SUPER smart, VERY patient, and obviously very enthusiastic. All of that really shows when he's teaching. The one day workshop was so wonderful; it was the highlight of my year and our trip to Nashville (from Santa Cruz, California). The work I performed wasn't WAY over my head, but it wasn't overly easy either. I never got bored and I learned something new every time we performed a new task. Under Josh's tutelage I felt confident. He is a great teacher. When I got home and plugged my OWN, HAND BUILT guitar in to my rig I was totally blown away. It feels so perfect. I know every nook and cranny of this axe. It's now replaced all my other guitars as my primary GO TO guitar. Now I NEED to go back to get the 2020 version (which is different). Thank you so much for everything Josh. This is a memory I'll have for the rest of my life and I'll be constantly reminded of it as Hendrix, Page, and Clapton bust from my new guitar.

Received the workshop as a Christmas gift. Myself and two sons attended and it was such a fun time. Josh is extremely knowledgeable, as was his assistant Kevin. With their help all three of us were able to build a wonderful electric guitar. From a finished block of wood they helped us along each step as we built a fantastic guitar. Was a great experience and truly a unique. Thanks for a great experience!
