Excellent place to stroll through the gardens and tour the mansion. Different special events planned for each season. The outdoor train is definitely worth seeing. I highly recommend visiting and if you live locally get a membership.

Visited during the labor day long weekend with friends and it's beautiful especially with the cracking art that was on display. Can easily spend few hours if that's what you are looking for. Good place for a photoshoot.

The tickets are normally for the day, however, sometimes they do have events which have tickets for specific times of the day or night. Its best to check the event calendar or call ahead to find out about the day you plan to visit. The Christmas lights were an example of an event where the day tickets had time restrictions on them.
