Excellent place to stroll through the gardens and tour the mansion. Different special events planned for each season. The outdoor train is definitely worth seeing. I highly recommend visiting and if you live locally get a membership.

Visited during the labor day long weekend with friends and it's beautiful especially with the cracking art that was on display. Can easily spend few hours if that's what you are looking for. Good place for a photoshoot.

Nashville's botanical garden. Home of the Maxwell House Coffee fortune. For fan's of the large homes of the Guilded Age, this is the last one of the era. The gardes and grounds are extraordinary. Special events are well planned . Love Cheekwood

We really enjoyed the beautiful gardens, so many flowers, trees, butterflies, birds, etc. Plus history of multiple generations with an amazing amount of original works of art, furniture, and property artifacts! A must see!

We love touring gardens, so when we were in Nashville, we checked out Cheekwood Gardens. The gardens were not at all well maintained. They need to hire a few more gardeners to properly maintain this estate. Be aware that added to your ticket price is...More

The gardens and mansion are a nice excursion if you have time. But it is not a must see if you have a limited amount of time in Nashville.
