Like most peoples reviews we only went into this bar to say we’d been in. The security guard at the door was indeed very rude. The drinks were extremely expensive $20 for 2 bottles of Bud!!! The band on the first floor were just screaming at the mike, but the group on the second floor were in fact very good.

One of the two original Honky Tonks on Broadway (the other being Roberts Western World - another top bar). Fantastic atmosphere and great music. Lots of memorabilia on the walls. A solid pick for a brilliant music experience.

The beer is expense but the dive bar atmosphere is totally dependent on what band is playing. Make sure to checkout all 3 levels to see which band you like best, don’t just stop on the first level. All the bands switch over at 10 pm and then no music for a while so plan accordingly.

Went to the late show at the Grand Ol' Opry. Garth was there it was great. Went downtown and ate at Jason Aldean's place the food was good, the hot chick mac & cheese was fantastic. Walked around the rest of downtown, it was good. The next day went to Opry Mills mall. Giant mall with lots of interesting stores. Took the General Jackson dinner boat and show. The food was ok and the show was good.

This place is Country music famous. I have been here numerous times and every time it's very busy. Three stories high with a bar on each level and live music. 3rd floor even had a patio. Service was fast and friendly. It was a Saturday afternoon with a hockey game that night and football on Sunday. It was extremely busy on all levels and at $10 beers with not enough seating. It has a really nice view of the downtown strip.

A friend and I stopped at Tootsie's as we were bar hopping throughout broadway. It was packed inside, near impossible to move around, and just not enjoyable. It was cool to stop in just because of the history of the place, but I don't think I would go back unless I was with someone who wanted to go in for the same reason that I did. I don't have much else to say about the place.

Tootsie's Orchid Lounge is a three story music venue, bar, & restaurant. It's nostalgic, loud, fun with cheap drinks and music of all kinds by people trying to get record contracts in Nashville. Right on Broadway & 5th Ave N next to the historic & original home of the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium. We visited her on Sun Sept 24, 2023 around 1:00pm. No cover charges in Nashville. Three floors of live music music, bars, & food. Supposedly Willie Nelson has admitted that he had been to Tootsie's "before, during, & after" performances at the Ryman. The photos on the walls are a testament to all that have sang, played, & partook at this hallowed drinking palace. A couple of drinks and we split a good sandwich for lunch. This is a true watering hole and honky tonk establishment. Grab a seat & a drink and listen to music by players that you just may say "we saw them back in the day at Tootsie's". Tootsies came highly recommended both by local friends who live here and also on nearly every single list of places to go for live music in Nashville. We stopped in after visiting a few other bars on Music Row and were not disappointed. It's not as fancy inside as some of the newer ones, but it's charming and bare bones bar feeling. Dive-y. A new band had just taken the stage at about 10pm and they had a fiddle player so I knew I was in for a treat. She was excellent and of course there was Charlie Daniels in the mix. The first floor is very stuffy and cramped with barely any room to walk or move around, the second floor is much larger and has a much larger stage and the third floor is the largest of all and most spread out. The band on the first floor was my personal favorite though. They do have a food menu but we stuck to music and drinks.

We had a ball there. The girls behind the bar were incredible. They didn’t miss a beat. The band was great. It was crowded wall to wall up front. There’s another area in the back we don’t go to. Might not have been so tight.

Our favorite honky tonk on Broadway. Three levels plus a rooftop bar. We had a great time listening to different bands on each level. Shout out to our fave - Chandler Marie. What a great time!
