Great zoo, just need to finish the construction

Great layout and exhibits, but right now they are remodeling several of their main exhibits. Will definitely go back once the exhibits are completed.

What a great day to spend with friends, family, kids ,school groups, church groups or even a date! Make sure to walk through the kangaroos, they are literally right beside you in a open environment, you can let them if they are on the walk way. The had just brought out a baby kangaroo the day we were here . Kids were... More

Our zoo continuously grows and adds new exhibits. It is a shady, easy walk with a wide variety of animals. The playground is a delightful addition to your trip

Nice zoo, albeit not mapped out that well. You have to double back on yourself to get to the exit in just about all sections of the zoo. Not a smooth flow of foot traffic. Food was exorbitantly expensive, although the entrance fee was reasonable. Kids got a kick out of touching turtles and kangaroos.

I was a little disappointed with the zoo. Many exhibits were under construction so we didn't get to see lions, bears, monkeys, elephants, etc. It was almost 100 degrees outside and several beverage/food stands were not open. There was great shade however or we would have cooked!

We've been there two times now. The first time was pretty good to okay. The second time we were not impressed at all. One of the major exhibits was out completely the second trip as they work to bring in a new exhibit. So, we did not see a lot of animals during out second trip. If you are in... More

This zoo seemed more like a conservation than a zoo, they put the animals first so we didn't actually see many due to the heat during our visit. We got to pet a kangaroo which was amazing, can't wait to come back when all the construction is over.

I call medium size based on number of animals and exhibits, not the geographical size (large). Nice clean spaces for most animals. Good variety. Extras for kids to participate in. I was disappointed in the quantity of animals as many species only had one or two on display. Zoo has a lot of walking between exhibits (empty space/forest).

The price of admission was very affordable. My wife and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery here. Unfortunately at the time of our visit, 07/22/2016, a lot of construed being done. There was still plenty to see. Getting to pet a kangaroo was pretty cool. Be prepared to do some walking. There a lot of ground to cover. Our visit lasted... More

The zoo is easy to get around and most places are very shaded. There is construction going on for about 3 new exhibits. Some interactive exhibits to be able to pet animals and feed animals. My kids and I enjoyed our visit. They even loved the zipline ride.
