Mom's first trip to Nashville

We had a wonderful time. My mother and I love country music so it was great to hear the history. We enjoyed it very much. Next time we will go to a show.

Wonderful experience and a dream come true at the Home of Country Music...the live performances at the Grand ole opry was amazing ...so was the back stage tour which gave us an understanding of this great institution and how all the performers down memory lane right upto the latest gave their first performance and got inducted as a member of... Even if you don't like country music you need to go to a show at the Grand Ole Opry! Everyone sounded amazing and they really put in a show! The fact the most acts only play 3 songs means you get this fantastic variety!

Visiting the Grand Ole Opry was a dream of a lifetime. They have AV Tuesday matinee and Friday and Saturday night shows. The Friday show I attended with my date and another couple was by far superior. We met legends such as Charlie Pride, Darus Rucker, Brad Paisley, The Judds Wynonna and sister Ashley, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban with wife... More

Great experience. Would have been better in the original Ryman Theater. New venue is nice but large and lacks the history and country feel. Show is great. You never know who you will see until you get close to the date. Online reservations suggested but the better seats are not available. Upper level is far from stage but may offer... More

The guided tour through it was informative and not too long. We didn't see a performance there, but we did enjoy seeing the historic and landmark site. Worth the drive outside of the main part of town!

Everyone should visit the Opry. What a great evening!!! I never considered myself a country music fan so was a bit apprehensive at first. I loved it & can't wait to go back!! You are introduced to the history of the venue with a taped message by Carrie Underwood. So that gives you a little background. The place is huge... More

Washed up old entertainers doing tired skits and jokes followed by endless commercials for Dollar General and Cash museum. Bench/pew style seating was ok and all seats seem to have ok views. Maybe if a known musician or band was playing but skip the local has been show!!!

Visited Nashville from Australia for the first time in June 2016, obviously a number of iconic places were on my list to visit, one of them being the Grand Ole Opry. I'd toured the Ryman Auditorium the day before so had the memory of where it all started and a bit of background to the creation of the Grand Ol... More
