Obviously everyone says the Grand Ole Opry is a must do in Nashville. We were not impressed. The show was full of corny jokes and commercials. The night we attended the acts were not balanced at all with all of them being extremely old country artists that haven't really been in the music scene for 20+ years. The building was... More

Great show. Lots of variety. It's a chance to be a part of history, as the radio show is still broadcast live.

First time at the Opry and we didn't really know what to expect. The older artists obviously still are great entertainers. The younger artists will be ones to watch for. What a great experience!

When in Nashville... I was surprised that we sat in church pews. We purchased ahead online and the show was sold out before we arrived. It was fun to be part of the live audience for the radio show. I oy knew half of the performers, but my sister knew them all! We bought the 50 dollar tickets and could... More

Being in Nashville, I decided that I needed to go to the Opry. It was an experience but some of the acts are quite past prime. Still a good variety and some comedic moments as well. I would recommend going - at least once!

My wife and I did the backstage tour during the day and attended the performance on the same evening. We were able to see a number of the dressing rooms, and were surprised to see the performers are NOT treated like royalty. The evening performance was a lot of fun. While my wife and I are not really C &... More

My daughters and I went together on May 23 for our first experience of being at the Opry for all of us. We did the Backstage Tour earlier in the day so we learned a lot about the Opry prior to coming back. We enjoyed the Salutes the Troops night for the evening and we saw Trace Adkins and Terri... Fantastic and completely lived up to the expectation I had. The show was amazing with everyone so enthusiastic ensuring that the audience was fully involved. You have to get used to the fact that it's also a live radio show, so they repeat live commercials for their sponsors but that in itself becomes part of the show. Yes it has... More

Yes the traffic is bad and not well laid out. But wow, The Grand Ole Opry is wonderful. Great music, great venue, always entertaining. We got to see Ronnie Milsap which was awesome. Longest running radio show. A must do.
