The CM HOF is very well designed and spacious enough for people to see a very detailed history of CM.

I didn't get to even see one floor completely due to time constraints with our tour group. If you visit Nashville, leave a whole day for this place. The 222 restaurant was pricey and the food, so, so. The small food place -with pre-made sandwiches...More

.....but still a must visit while in Nashville. Not being true fans we didn't bother with the audio tour, the information boards are detailed enough and allows you to pick and choose what interests you. THERE WILL BE FAMILIAR FACES AND NAMES. Interesting chronology on...More

Even if you're not big into country music, you should still go. It is a gorgeous museum that takes you through some amazing phases. My favorite exhibition so far was for the Williams family.

We went 1 hour before the museum closed. Was only $14 a person. Normal rate is around $25. One hour was enough for us, but plan for 1.5-2 if you really want to look at each item.

I don’t think that is the target audience for much in Nashville or this museum. It might work for pre-teens and teens but there is not much for younger kids and even older kids may not really appreciate exhibits which seemed... More

I am not sure but I believe if you get one of those pamphlets in the stands you see at all the hotels, airports and so on you may get a coupon for a couple of dollars off. I know we did get a coupon for the Ryman.

it is very much a self guided tour. They do have an audio tour you can purchase and if I recall you touch the number for the display that you want information about. It is very leisurely and go at your own pace.
