My partner and I booked the Seasonal Food Foray through Marion at Pickled Sisters Cafe, who was extremely helpful answering all my questions & organising bike hire from Rutherglen Info Centre ($50 each). We started the day at 10am with a 30min easy ride to Pickled Sisters (at Cofield Winery) where they set us up outside for our 1st course. From there the day was lovely, so relaxed & we were very well looked after at each of the 3 remaining wineries. Food was great as were the matching wines with each course. We finished the day back in Rutherglen at 5:30pm exhausted but happy. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the area from outside a bus or car!

Four of us cycled for this tour and it surpassed all our expectations. The food was beautifully presented, tasty and the settings where we ate were superb. Participating wineries were welcoming and the staff were informative and helpful. The wines were all well matched to the food. We all had a ball and intend to do this again. Obviously we recommend it.

The Seasonal Food Foray is a stroke of genius from the team at Pickled Sisters Café in Wagunyah. Four perfectly presented courses in a tiffin carrier matched with delicious local wines at each of four venues around the Rutherglen wine region. We were a group of six friends on bikes and this meant we weren't tied to a single location for lunch but could spread the enjoyment as we moved between four lovely spots. We were treated like honoured guests at each location with tables set with glasses and crockery, beautiful views (rivers, vineyards) and a flexible choices of wines if the nominated winder was not to our taste. We had an absolute ball, the food was superb and as frequent Rutherglen visitors we could show our friends the delights of an area of Victoria that we have grown to love! Great value for the price, so full marks from us!

We went for lunch. Home baked bread with locally produced olive oil started off our meal. We had Honey glazed Confit Duck with fried polenta, rhubarb compote, pickled ginger & rocket, and loved it. It was cooked to perfection. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely come again. Being in the same building as Cofield's winery is an added bonus.

Very novel way to visit various wineries and eat and drink along the way. Food was excellent and plenty of it. This included wine with every meal as well.
