gret place to camp
Oct 2021
Very chill campsite, immaculately clean showers and toilet. well stocked camp kitchen, with laundry. plenty of room. no need to unhitch if you don't Want to. Only a short drive to the lake and the locals are friendly. $10 unpowered, $15 powered per night for 2 peep.

We stopped over on our way to SA to break up our trip... glad we did... John was very accommodating. If you do get the chance we highly recommend the effort. Clean amenities and you can have an open fire! Good community owned pub with a great restaurant... visit to Lake Tyrell (sunset) and the Silo art are a must...

Stayed overnight so we could visit Lake Tyrrel and the Silo Art. Lots of room and a good camp kitchen.

Good country stopover
Oct 2019
Stayed 2 nights at this caravan park on a recent trip. It is a basic park well back off the road. There are powered and unpowered sites. No cabins. Sites are fairly level and drive through. Facilities are clean, with toilets and showers.
There is no reception here and so it is run on an honesty system $10 per person. Camp kitchen, BBQ, laundry and line.
We went out to the Lake Tyrell lookout and also went to the silos to look at their paintings. Good little 'stop over'. Would stay again

Brilliant caravan parking spot.

My husband and I stayed here in our motorhome. We came for a couple of days and we have decided to stay for a couple of weeks while awaiting mail. Compared to some caravan parks this one has everything we needed. Power and water, lovely hot showers, camp kitchen and walking distance to town for only $20 per night. Very happy.

Great place to stop-over
Jul 2019
This was a great overnight camp. We chose unpowered but powered sites available. Unhitched and went out to Lake Tyrell - well worth it. The town has a coupla good murals too.

Great Stopover

On or way to Broken Hill we stopped here to stay the night. $20 in the honesty box is well worth the stay. Clean toilets and the camp kitchen is small and quaint. Walking distance to the shops, but no shops open as it was stock take day!!

We stayed here for the night not expecting much. But for what we wanted was exactly what we expected. Honesty box system applies here, has clean bathroom and toilets. For a place in the middle of nowhere, small country town it’s well worth it. Powered site for 2 people $20, carn’t complain. First in best dressed. It was our nights rest before starting on the silo art trail. Nice small little town with some nice street art. Pub is about to reopen, which would have been good to have tea at but just ended up with some take away prior to heading off the next day. Nice to give these little country towns some support. We are all behind you.

a welcome respite
Mar 2019 • Couples
a surprise to find showers and clean toilets in a what is really a roadside picnic stop. close to the centre of a small country town, you have all you need to refresh for the next leg of your journey. Lake Tyrell salt lake is nearby.

A clean toilet break is what to expect here.
There is nothing much else to say about this spot.
In the middle of no where.
