This was our 3rd Mud Island tour and we are planning our 4th which is a clear indication of how much we enjoy this tour. Each time has been an amazing experience greatly enhanced by the expertise of the brilliant bird-watching guide, Tania

This escorted boat tour showed the highlights of Port Phillip Bay from Queenscliff, Victoria. We experienced the extreme tidal surge at the entrance to the bay known as The Rip. The depth changes from 15 meters to 80 meters deep within 10 meters. After seeing the best snorkelling spot near Portsea we watched a pod of 10-12 dolphins. Next was... More

We did the discovery tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw dolphins, seals at Chinaman's Hat, and gannets at Pope's Eye, plus the added bonus of seeing a transport cargo ship go through the rip with the pilot boat following. I was interested in seeing the Quarantine Station and hearing about the history along the Nepean shoreline. My 8 year... More

This tour was outstanding. We saw a total of 27 different birds, got hands on in a chick banding project and saw fabulous nesting colonies/crèches. The tour guide, Tania, was sensational and facilitated me reaching my 200th tick for 2014! Mike then iced the cake by 'flying' us to Pope's Eye alongside an Australasian Gannet - a very moving experience.... More

Mike took us out to parts of the Rip that I have only seen from land before and how much better it is from the comfort of their excellent vessel and getting up close and personal with the incredible Australian Gannets and fur seals.
