Our family with two kids 7 and 2 loved this. It’s about a mile round trip in and out. Worth the trip to let the kids play in the falls. Very pretty. If coming from Nashville once you turn on 43 just watch for the...More

After a few days of below 10F temperature, we decided to drive 85 miles north to Tennessee to see if the water falls got frozen. We were so lucky, the Falls were completely frozen over. The best part was that you could walk in the...More

Although a little off the beaten path, this hiking trail is worth a stop. The first portion is very easily accessed and in good condition. If you are an amateur you can stop at the top of the falls and just enjoy the view. The...More

Water level is low right now. The trail is really nice. It's fairly easy going down to the falls but a lot harder coming back up! The leaves are starting to turn fall colors, very beautiful place.

I visited these falls with my family today. They are just beautiful! This was a nice hike. It wasn't overly difficult but not flat by any means. I would say average to moderate difficulty. The hike is definitely worth the beautiful waterfall at the end....More

This is a great little place for a fun little hike. It's not too far for kids. It's very easy going down and a bit harder coming back up but the journey is well worth it. The bottom of the falls are very nice especially...More

The hike to the falls and back is about a mile and a half--nothing too hard for the youngest of hikers to manage. We brought our 15-month-old and 4-year-old. I carried the baby in my Ergo and the kid walked the whole thing. The bottom...More
