We spent a weekend on the lake. It's only 90 minutes heading North up the Hume Freeway. The town centre has a great bakery, a pub, a nice coffee shop and supermarket for all your essentials. You can even pull up on the water and walk up to this statue of the Great Black Caviar which is in the town... More

This fine statue can be seen in High Street, Nagambie, not far from where she was foaled. Every punter loves a winner and Black Caviar won every... More

Having worked in the Racing industry I am glad we stopped and saw the Black Caviar Statue. There is a really nice backdrop with the Lake in the background. If on a road trip it is worth pulling over.

If a town's only claim to fame is a race horse , and a very good one then why not take advantage of it as a tourist attraction and that is what this is.Nice statue by the lake so good on them.

Everyone raves about Black Caviar. It's just a race horse immortalised in a statue next to a lake. Move on.

Great photo opportunity on bright early summer day and exciting for racing or horse fans. Looks over the lake which is lovely and used for boat regattas.
