We were amazed at how sturdy and skilfully built this Kiln really was. Ample off road parking, with a picnic area alongside. Plenty of information signs nearby and even an inspirational one. Inside the Kiln, there are 3 sides of information walls to read. Recommend...More

This old tobacco kiln is a great example of the area's agricultural history. While not politically correct to acknowledge the product today, it is apart of the area. Worth dropping into have a look, only takes about 10 minutes.

This building represents the early agricultural history of the township when tobacco was grown around the area. The old kiln is a good representation of the one of the early kilns around the area. There's no more tobacco grown in the area, so over time...More
