Although it rained all day was good for kids first snow trip to see snow. Wouldn't head hear for serious snow as only one run open. Kids had a ball on the toboggan run.

We were very blessed to have come up just after a huge amount of snow had fallen. Our kids loved the powder snow, for 2 of them, this was the first time seeing snow, a huge thrill. For beginners and families, this alpine resort is brilliant! While there are not huge runs or many lifts, the advantage is that you... More

Drive up for a quick look and ended up staying the night. It is off season so quiet and peaceful. Staff in the entire resort area all go out of their way to provide a great service and make the stay memorable. Walking up to Mt Baw Baw summit was a great start to the day too.

Being from Queensland the concept of snow has always been foreign and as such Mount Baw Baw being reasonably close to our new home in Ballarat proved an opportunity too good to pass up. While we didn't ski and stayed at nearby Neerim South the road up to the ski field was a nice drive and the snow itself was... More
