An easy, short walk from the car park to the base of the falls where you can take photos at a lookout platform. Suitable for people with some walking problem and for baby stroller. There is also a route to walk up to the top or down to foot of the falls. Great spot with toilet facilities and some benches to sit on.
Car park was quite full at the weekend we got there. It was free of charge on that weekend but bring small change as there's a ticket machine.

The carpark is only a short and flat 50 metres walk away from the waterfall. We visited twice - once during the day and another visit at night (it is open and very well it up until 11.00pm - see picture). It was impressive seeing the turbine that powers the lights at night and seeing the large volume of water crashing down into the creek below. This is well worth a visit - free entry and easy access.

Fabulous falls with a good walking track to see them. It costs $3 for your parking so make sure you have coins. The walk is easy and there are good advantage points to see the falls. Some have a few steps to go up to the next level of viewing but doable,. My 93 yo mother and 89 yo aunt did it easily .

We arrived at the huge empty car park and made the level easy walk to the falls viewing area. What a fantastic sight! We were mesmerised by the sheer quantity of water. We then took the track to the upper viewing point which gave us fantastic views and a very close look at the very top of the falls. Highly recommended!

A super easy walk from Marysville via the Fern Tree Track (#7 on the local guide map), although the very last section isn't wheelchair/pram friendly. The falls themselves are well maintained, 3 different view points, and pretty. Worth the trip,

We went on a Sunday mid morning. The walk from the car park to the falls is very easy. My two year old walked the entire way there and back no problem.
The falls are stunning! The track is also a lovely little walk, we took the ‘turbine’ route on the way back for variety- and it has quite a few stairs at the end. Nothing major for any able bodied adult but some people might want to avoid the detour and just return via the main track if they have mobility problems.
Toilets were what you would expect of a National park but clean and pleasant.

*Be sure to bring coins ($3.00) for the ticket machine in the carpark as it doesn’t have a card reader. *

Having stayed on a Friday night locally, we decided to drive up the road to the falls rather than walking due to the heat of the day. It looked like a great walk, but we gave it a miss on this day.

The small, easy walk from the carpark up to the falls is no trouble with young kids either. However on our visit there was a snake (copperhead?) curled up just off the main pathway that everyone was able to safely avoid (see picture).

Given the warm day it would have been nice to go for a swim, but as it feeds the town's water supply that is not allowed.

The falls were beautiful. Definitely worth the visit.

Steavenson Falls is absolutely stunning. Very accessible for all abilities. I Love how close you can stand next to the falls on the platform & enjoy the mist on your face. So magical
Visiting the falls at night time is a must as it is now floodlit. Take a torch for the path on the way to the falls.

Beautiful waterfall that can be viewed day and night. The path at night is very well lit and is a very easy walk from the car park. The walk is only 700 meters and has no steps to the lower viewing platform. We went at night as it is a lot Quieter around tea time and is lit up until 11pm

We went mid week so no problem parking. $3 per car for the day. We only walked to the couple of the viewing platforms but still had great views of the falls. The paths are wide and well maintained. There are toilets just near the car park.
