Honestly, I am very unsure as to why Piper Street is considered a place to go. Over priced shops that you could find in Melbourne. Average places to eat. Only unique place to shop is the amazing nursery and as far as food goes, yes there are some lovely restaurants and a few overpriced 'antique' (junk) stores but you may... More

Went there with a couple of friends for lunch before heading out to hanging rock. The street is lined with quite some unique shops (food to artsy/antique shops). We didn't visit the museum as it didn't appeal to us. The architecture of this place is quite amazing though (rustic, timeless). Overall, it's a good place for families to explore and... More

Piper Street has lots to offer from a nursery, antique shops , cafes, hotels, restaurants , boutique shops selling artwork , original furniture shop , to gorgeous country inspired gifts . Pipers street is extremely busy on the weekends. It is a little quieter earlier in the week . To me Pipers street has some of the best shops that... More

On a beautiful winter afternoon we took a lovely relaxing walk up and down Piper Street. There are many antique stores, art galleries, a milliner and so many cafes and restaurants. It is definitely a very lovely street with many buildings and houses that grab your eye. Whilst many of the eateries were open on a mid afternoon Sunday, many... More

lamb and rosemary pie is very disgusting, chef should put some spices, couldn't taste the rosemary taste at all. steak sandwich was really good though with well presentation. Staff should have more training, when my uncle asked what do you recommend she answer, depends what you want and you can have anything. Maybe a substantial recommendation would help

A 'real' street, full of great eateries, indulgent shopping, authentic street-scape with a contemporary, cultural ethos. Nothing contrived here, it's the real deal and only an hour from Melbourne, even quicker by train and good wine for lunch.

One of the best streets you will find for food in country Australia. That's no idle boast. Many eateries that will rival Melbourne. Cafes and restaurants are the go here. Makes Kyneton a real weekend getaway

Love wandering around Piper St especially on weekends. So many gorgeous little shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Such atmosphere. The Farmers Market is worth a visit. Local products on offer. Gorgeous town. Gorgeous historic street!

This is the street to check out for restaurants and shops. There are some excellent dining places here. Spend the time walking down the street and pop into the shops to see local wares.
