One of the best streets you will find for food in country Australia. That's no idle boast. Many eateries that will rival Melbourne. Cafes and restaurants are the go here. Makes Kyneton a real weekend getaway

Love wandering around Piper St especially on weekends. So many gorgeous little shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Such atmosphere. The Farmers Market is worth a visit. Local products on offer. Gorgeous town. Gorgeous historic street!

Our advice would be don't visit Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Most things are closed. Especially restaurants! Duck Duck Goose and Larder was open and good.

Plenty to see, shop, and browse along the way. Cafes or eateries to take a break, too. I enjoyed it!

Kyneton got some characters, lots of cafes, restaurants, library, galleries and typical architecture. Don't miss the Farmers markets ones a week.

Multiple choices for coffee and cake or lunch each having its own flavour. Start with the market but if you can't get there on that weekend then there are still plenty of shops to visit. For those interested in wool crafts or quilting don't miss Pick up Stitches. The millinery shop is also fascinating. Currently there is a great Popup... More

We made the trip up to Kyneton over the long weekend after some friends had recommended piper st for the antique and homeware shops. What surprised me though was the quality of restaurants and cafes (mostly v kid friendly which was a plus), Little Swallow is a must for breakfast! Was a little disappointed on the antiques front though- not... More

The place to visit in Kyneton especially on weekends, lots of quirky cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as galleries and homeware stores. Farmers markets are on in this street every couple of weeks too.
