This an old established playground in the middle of the Heidelberg parklands. Parking is plentiful. The equipment is varied for all ages and is generally well maintained. Much thought has been given to the safety of children. There is a childproof fence surrounding the whole playground. There was a kiosk but that is now closed as the clientele was not sufficient to support the business. Well worth a visit.

So this is one of the better playgrounds in town. The kids love it, we love it, its safe with a fence right around it and there is lots of options for the kids to play on. They've built a couple of flying foxes, a great choice of slides, flooring made out of that safety stuff so the kids don't hurt themselves. Additionally the area is nice and you can take a walk out of the playground down towards the yarra too. We've had one of our kids birthday parties here also and it was the perfect spot for that too!

We took a friend's toddler to this playground. Lots of play equipment for young children and rubberised surfaces for safe landings! Swings, ropes, a bridge, flying fox, grassy areas, BBQs, water and seating all enclosed by fencing. There is a basketball court nearby as well as a bike track, footy oval and toilet block. Parking is available around the footy oval but spots would be hard to find when the games are on. Not far from Burgundy St. and Warringal Shopping Centre.

Fantastic playground to bring the kids. Will keep them occupied for a long time. For the older kids you can head down the red gum walk that meets up with the Yarra trail which takes you down to the Yarra river. In the other direction the Yarra trail continues north along the river. Lots of parking at this great play space.

This is a fenced playground that is so lovely, it blends in with the environment around it. There are shady seats for parents /grandparents /babysitters /friends/aunts--??? ( you get the idea)--who have taken the young ones out to the playground to get some fresh air. Carparking is available nearby. There are parklands around the area, a wetland and a reserve. It's winning for whatever you want. There is a cafe within the playground area and that is something special. Toilets within walking distance.

Basketball courts are also within the playground area. Shady trees! Gardens! Win... win ...win...win... an Australian themed playground.

We have been here a few times now, and went again today to have a bbq with friends.
It's a great place for the kids to enjoy the very good playground equipment, and for us adults to indulge in food and drink in very pleasant surroundings

Visited a few times with my young family. They really have a lot of fun and the bbq area is ideal for kids birthday parties if you nab it up before anyone else does. Only downfall is it has a lot of shrubs/bush and beware of snake signs everywhere. I know we live in Australia and snakes can’t be helped but for a children’s playground the area should be kept tidy and the landscape where snakes lurk should be maintained and tidied up.
