Healesville Glass Blowing Studio was established in 2009 and is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley winery region of Victoria.

Visitors to the studio are able to watch the fascinating art of glass blowing from the mezzanine viewing area in the gallery.

The opportunity for a hands on experience is also offered, you can make your own paperweight or book in for a beginners glassblowing class.

We create a range of glass art from sculpture, chandeliers and custom lighting to blown glass vases, platters and bowls. Our work is held in several museum collections around the world including The Australian National Glass Art Collection and The Victoria and Albert museum in London.

A complete waste of time. Staff could not have been less interested. The 'demonstrator' swore the whole time we were in there. Avoid at all costs.

We are very surprised to read this review. We try to be very helpful and approachable whilst avoiding jumping on people as soon as they arrive and making anyone feel pressured to buy something. We do not have "demonstrators", we have highly skilled glassblowers who work very hard in an extremely hot environment where things can go wrong in a... More

The quality of work both Tali and Tim do is first class. We are proud owners of 3 of the glass pods Tali made. We bought one and Tali had made another couple that were yet to be finished, we have just picked those two up and brought home to QLD, they look great in our lounge area. Tali and... More

It is amazing to watch this amazing artwork being developed. The studio provides a view. It would have been great if observers could be talked through what is being done but this may interrupt the process. I would have lived to have been able to request specific products and subsequently purchase these.

Thanks for your review. We do try to explain the process when we can but yes, you are right, we need to concentrate on the glass and can't always talk whilst in the process of making a piece. We do make pieces to order on request. More

There are some beautiful pieces to buy at different prices and you can watch the process.Look carefully for the driveway. Check on the net for the days they are open.Entry is free.

The art work is great but the service wasn't welcoming or friendly. No one acknowledged our presence whilst we were there. You can watch the glass being blown, but you're given no explanation as to what is happening or why. The pieces available for purchase seemed to be a reasonable price.

Thanks for reviewing us. Glassblowing requires intense concentration and split second timing. We do acknowledge people when we can take a moment to look away from the hot glass. Most people watch the whole process and once the piece has been finished ask us questions. We are always happy to answer them. There is usually someone in the gallery when... More

Thought we would look for sum future presents and popped in here on a hunch, stayed and watched demonstrations for ages, glass blowing and using the furnace was quite mesmerising and toasty warm. Great art for sale at very reasonable prices for one of art works that are all individuals. Happy friendly staff! Worth a look

Very nice pieces of all colours to look at, besides homewares also have jewellery. The husband & wife make them all on the premises, & convenient as just on the edge of Healesville on the main road, Can drive in & plenty of parking.

Visited with the family and saw glass-blowing in action. The lady was lovely although the male not so talkative. During the demonstration there was no talking although both were concentrating. Seemed ok to answer questions after though. Small pieces in the gallery ranged from $20 (hanging sphere) to $7000. Option to make your own paperweight for $60 although had to return... More

The Princess and I had the pleasure of a visit to the Glassblowing Studio, In Healesville, just up the road from the Beechworth Bakery outlet. It's on the way out of town. It was unfortunate that the furnace was not in operation, today, but it gave us time to view all the wonderful glass pieces - and buy some, too!... More

Thank you for your review. It was lovely to meet you both. Enjoy the rest of your trip. The furnace is back up and running after some maintenance, perhaps you will find yourselves in Healesville again sometime and will get to see some glassblowing. More
