A visit to the Grampians is not complete without a trip to the region’s original winemaking pioneers at Seppelt Great Western. Open seven days a week, experience the beauty of country Victoria at our historic cellar door for a tasting or to purchase wine, coffee, a light lunch or cheese platter, and step back in time underground with a tour of our heritage-listed cellars, “The Drives” – first excavated in 1868 and the longest in the southern hemisphere.

Had lunch and an underground cellar tour with an auto club. Seppelts Great Western no longer produces wines at this site. So there is a significant amount of infrastructure which now lays idle. The locals were so incensed by the damage they believed the plant...More

We called in and had the pruners platter, which we shared. The food was great along with a couple of wines, very enjoyable. They were really busy so service was a bit slow but very friendly

Wonderful iconic Australian winery. We did the guided tour of the drives. It's a must. Full of wonder and historical interest. The wines of course are outstanding, with a special plug for the Drumborg Riesling and the well known sparklings and reds. This facility is...More
