About
Gurneys' Cidery overlooks Corner Inlet and the wilderness of Wilsons Promontory National Park. We are situated on 70 acres of farmland and have around 6000 heritage cider apple trees. Gurneys specialise in producing traditional dry ciders and serve local cheeses and meats. Gurneys is a must visit on the way to the Prom. We are a working farm, unfortunately this means that no pets are allowed.

Cider Flight & Tasting Platter
Apr 2021
Gurney's Cider was a professional and well-run place that presented their ciders well in an interesting tasting 'flight" accompanied by a tasty grazing platter. Prices may have been a little high but overall a very good experience in a great set up. Staff were switched on and friendly and the views were excellent

Friendliest Cidery.

These people know what they are doing. Their enthusiasm is contagious. They obviously love what they are doing and have a clear vision for the future. Their ciders are exceptional and in my option, unique. They are at the beginning of their journey and without doubt this venue will be a magnet for visitors in the near future. They have gone to extraordinary lengths to make your visit memorable. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Sensational and not to be missed
Mar 2021 • Couples
In brief; the ciders are great, the local food platters are great and the family feel and welcoming culture of the place make this a ‘not to be missed’ place.

Fantastic range of crisp ciders served by the cider makers themselves. Super friendly service. Delicious platters. Overall, a fantastic way to spend an hour or 2 admiring the views across Corner Inlet

Fantastic experience
Feb 2021
It is our wedding anniversary and I had a dental appointment in the morning in Foster and we were looking forward to having a pleasant lunch break after the appointment. Gurneys had been recommended to us and I had been wanting to visit here for quite a while so this was the perfect opportunity. Firstly the setting is spectacular with views over to Wilson's Prom and sloping flower gardens leading down to the orchards. The building itself fits well into the landscape with lots of windows for visitors to take advantage of the views. There is seating outside but we sat in the conservatory even though it was a lovely day. We were met at the entrance by staff who welcomed us and took us through the Covid requirements before we walked through the door. We were invited to sit where ever and given a brief explanation of their offerings and ordering procedures. We found a table by the window and I went up to put our order in. We chose a $20 cider tasting paddle and a meat and cheese platter for lunch. The selection on the platter was all local produce with a good mix of meat. cheese, fruits and dips with biscuits and breads for serving. The cider tasting paddle had 6 of their ciders for us to try and while neither Robb nor I are fans of cider we did enjoy a couple of them. When the ciders were presented to us we were instructed on the different varieties and we photographed the notes so that we could read it as we went. The platter was plenty for the two of us for lunch and we left here very happy with the experience. So on all levels, quality, experience, service and value we would have to give full marks.

Interesting...

Never had a cider tasting platter before! It’s a new and interesting experience for me. The guy (I think he owns the place) greeted us at the front door and he’s a very lovely man. The waiter also knows what he’s talking about and has the knowledge about different types of ciders. The cheese platter is also very tasty!

I wanted to buy a cider but I find it quite pricey. It’s in big bottles with bottle caps you can’t put back on.

The experience is very interesting. I’ll bring some friends back into this place.

Took a trip here, obviously little restricted by COVID, tasting pallet of cider was good and the staff were knowledgeable. The tasting box had some nice items but kind of expensive for what was in it.

What a View!

Second visit to this lovely little family owned operation. Delicious nibbles share plate and cider tasting board (including their AMAZING ice variety of which we took home a couple of bottles). Outstanding views over the Prom and gorgeous gardens in full bloom. Lovely informative, attentive staff (whom I presume are the owners due to their enthusiasm) 😊

Unique Cider, Views & Atmosphere...Go Get Ya Some
Sep 2020 • Couples
Atmosphere, service, view, food, oh and the locally made boutique cider. I love my cider. I have never tasted anything like the cider at Gurneys Cidery. Each of the 6 flavours completely unique. Try it for yourself, so worth the trip, you will not regret it! Love the Grapefruit Sour and Noir Cide. Go get ya some!
