The service was amazing, the lady who served us twice in 2 days, was so lovely. She went above and beyond when I mentioned that we were purchasing a gift she looked after our chocolate and goodies for us. It is smaller than Yarra Valley but so much quieter! I would rather come here than Yarra Valley for that reason. No tables inside bjt plenty of seating outside (in future I hope they add covered seating). We purchased chocolate coated licorice, Turkish delight, coffee, macaroons etc. All delicious. Same yummy chocolate. If you are passing through, head in. We will definitely be back

Love it here. Really nice ice creams and loads of delicious chocolates. Free samples are offered at the front counter. Is always busy with locals and holiday makers. Not overly pricey and ice cream flavors change daily- serves are massive. Very friendly service too. Worth a visit when in Flinders.

We recently were in Flinders so visited the Chocolaterie, had been there a couple of years ago and it was better this time as they have chocolate tasting , there are three bowls of chocolate buttons , dark , normal and white.
you can help yourself with a small spoon , delicious.
Place was very busy , we bought some nice products, love the ginger sticks covered in Chocolate , scrumptious, a must place to visit when in Flinders

Bad idea coming here on New Years day to experience the famous Peninsula Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. Place was packed. 30 people with prams and little kids queuing up waiting to be served ice cream. Too bad if you wanted to buy the chocolate on display. The options of ice creams wasn't too many to choose from, same as you get anywhere. If you're after famous Ice Creams - Try Timboon in Western Victoria.

Having been here a year or so ago, we Had a post-lunch ice cream here. As before, a wide selection of ice creams, great taste and very friendly service. The selection of chocolates is equally impressive. Still a hidden gem in my opinion.

My two children have dairy allergy and we all tried the chocolate sorbet. It was fantastic and we also had the same the next day too! The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble even dealing with COVID rules too.
Excellent.

Despite waiting patiently for over 15min to be served, I left in disgust. The male shop assistant seemed more interested in selling himself to one particular lady than the chocolates.

Walking into this funky little chocolate shop in Flinders we had high expectations -the decor was good and the chocolates looked mouth-wateringly tempting, but we left unimpressed.
The shop is divided into two sections - one for the food and beverages and one for the chocolates. You need to order (and pay for) your chocolates separately, then go and order (and pay for your drinks) in the other section. They do not take credit card payments for orders under $15.00 which means that you must have cash to pay for your separate transactions! Not a convenient way to do things if you haven't been to the ATM!
When we asked for a sample of the $9.00 chocolate bar we were told this wasn't possible. This place seems more interested in taking your money than in creating an enjoyable experience. This was confirmed by the very large sign stating that if you need to use the toilet, "go across the road to the oval". Good thing we didn't need to use it as we didn't find it.
The chocolates were good but not that good and the customer service left a lot to be desired.
Would not recommend.

Came by on wednesday lunch time to have some chocolate with lunch, but found the shop closed. No reason, no hours listed and staff across the road at the supermarket had no idea what time or when they were open.
Even in the tourist map it didnt list restricted hours.
So if you want to try their product, ring first or just avoid. Long way to go (I know, i drove there) only to find they couldnt be bothered opening!!!!

So nice to go to a nice icecream & chocolate shop without pre-planning your visit as a wheelchair user, so many aren't accessible. We went on a spur of moment and got lucky as new owners have undertaken extensive renovations that are very accessible to all. Service was lovely too, very welcoming and helpful.
