If you love animals you will love Briarwood.  When we first pulled up we really weren't sure what to expect but there was a sign to go into the store to purchase tickets. The woman was so nice explained what to do, where to go, who to feed and who not to. There is a drive thru safari as well as a walk thru. The cost for adults was $20.00 p/p, $15.00 p/c and $4.00 per feeding bucket, 3 for $10. Get a couple of buckets especially if kids are going to feed. Some will try to take your bucket and some succeed( lol!) and there are animals to feed all the way to the end. I was the only one feeding in our car and my bucket ran out 3/4 of the way through. They do offer senior and military discount of $2.00 off ticket. We saw they offer a tractor pull type wagon to go through the safari but I believe you must make reservations for this (call them!) Know if you feed the animals in your car you will get feed in it but it vacuums up easily and so worth the fun you'll have!  Anyway it was so much fun. I laughed so much watching the animals approach our car. You knew just by looking at who was  coming up to your car who was going to make you laugh the hardest when feeding them! The animals are well kept and seem very happy and have plenty of room to roam which is so nice to see (so much better than a zoo!) We are definitely going back!

We did this with 6 kids of all different ages and adults as well. It’s a neat experience. The kids loved it! I did think it’s a little pricey. I paid $85 for 2 adults and a child, thankfully my other child was under 2 or it would have been $100. They did give us food free for the animals since our party was so large and that was very kind. The ride was beautiful and the animals were fun to feed.

Today my family and I made the one hour ride out to Briarwood Ranch Safari from our cabin in Gatlinburg. Having been to the Safari at Great Adventure (in New Jersey) I wasn’t sure what to expect.

When we arrived we found a family operation with lots to offer. The facility was clean and their were many animals to experience.

I think my family’s favorite was the giant elk still in the velvet phase but I’m gonna side with the Great White Buffalo (thank you Hot Tube Time Machine).

Anyway we were able to drive through the 4+ mile route as many times as we desired which we did twice since we had four buckets of food.

Now I was positive our 2 year old was gonna love it but what surprised me most was that the Safari was so good that our 16 y/o and 13 y/o both disconnected from their phones for two whole trips. If you have teens you know that rarely happens.

Definitely would recommend this to anyone of any age. I’m also pretty sure we will be back next year.

This is the perfect place to spend an exhilarating day with your family. Everything about this place was so perfect and my girls and I had the very best day. We really loved the zebras. I would recommend driving around more than once (We drove through twice). But we saw different animals the second time that we hadn't seen the first time and were able to truly enjoy loving on these sweet animals. They are all so gentle. I can't wait to go back. The excitement in my girl's voices as they have excitedly told everyone about our little trip to this zoo has made the day a memory we will cherish for a very long time. Wonderful. Great. Amazing.

Absolutely wonderful time! Fun experience for both adults and kids! Petting zoo and drive with your own vehicle for other animals. You purchase buckets of food and can hand feed the animals. Your vehicle may get a little messy with feed as the animals are messy eaters but nothing a vacuum can’t take care of., Grandkids are already asking to go back and we definitely would!

With social distancing the kids needed an outing. For my 3 year old it was her first time at a safari park. She was in awe of the large animals coming up to the car. We had fun for a smaller safari park right here in Tennessee near home it was great. We went through twice it was included in price and visited the smaller animals too.

I was a little skeptical of this place as it's located in the boonies but l but I couldn't have been more wrong. It was such a nice adventure! We celebrated mother's day by riding through and had so much fun! The price is definitely worth it and you'd pay more at other places and not get the hands on action. Seeing the animals up close and personal as they stick their head all the way in your car is awesome! We will most definitely be returning!

My family and I have been here twice so far and it is always wonderful. The staff is always very nice and friendly. Reasonable pricing. However, it would make a lot more sense to charge per vehicle instead of per person. Will definitely be back again soon.

Fun for all ages. We highly suggest getting there at opening hours...And buying more than 1 buckets of feed!
I'd personally like to see more snack/drink options in the shop, maybe even some ice cream?

Every time my family and I visit Pigeon Forge, we always have to take a trip to the ranch. We’ve been here countless times and we never get tired of it! I love getting to feed many exotic animals that you can’t feed anywhere else. The animals are very friendly and adorable. Some of our favorites are the bison and zebras! Right now, there is a very cute deer fawn in the park and we couldn’t get enough of it! It was too cute! Highly recommend if you love animals. Will be visiting again!
