Not for the faint-hearted or infirm, this hike is testing but totally worth the time. Stunning panoramic views are your reward. Make sure you take water and other snacks to keep you full or energy.

about 7 km return with 340m elevation change makes this one of the tougher walks in the southern grampians. The track is in good condition but there are lots of steps to climb and plenty of rock hopping needed to reach the top. Excellent views...More

This walk is rated hard. If you are a reasonable walker, it is reasonably for the last 500mts but well worth the view. Take water and sunscreen as not much cover.

Easter break is a good time to visit the Grampians area, the weather was great and the view of course is amazing. Not many people which I was surprised. Walk took me 2 hrs 45 min and got to the summit just before sunset. Quiet...More

I can’t find another write up on this subject. This was the best dancing cloud scene I have experienced anywhere in the world. The closet I’ve seen is in Zermatt when the Matterhorn smokes sometimes....the cloud formations like a cigar tail. I was lucky to...More

This takes I would say 1hr-1hr 20 up and around 45 minutes down, beautiful views of surrounding areas. It’s not too hard but slightly challenging if it’s hot I would say as both times we have done this it’s been around 32c. Well worth it...More

This is a really nice trail. Some lovely wildflowers were out. Nice gentle start that gets steeper but not too hard. Lovely views across to Mt Abrupt and a fantastic view from the top.

The track is easy to follow. It starts ascending through some trees and gets quite steep quite quickly. There are plenty of places to stop off on the way to enjoy the breathtaking views. It's really worth the walk up! There are also a lot...More

A pleasant hike along a sandy track, which gets steeper as you progress. The views from the top are brilliant, especially looking back to Mt Abrupt. We kept walking down a small valley and up the other side to see the views back to Dunkeld...More

If you're reasonably fit then no problem. I've done it a couple of times and yes, it's definitely worth it.
