Would be a nice location for a bbq or picnic. Interesting little gardens, the Californian redwood is impressive, most of the trees appear to be named.

The Gardens and the nearby Gong helped us yesterday to understand the development of the town from the 1860s. Signage was good and all areas were wheelchair friendly - some nice picnic spots as well. Loved the lilies and magnolias! Dogs were welcome!

Tranquil gardens, with good picnic facilities, and a small children's playground. The heritage rotunda is beautiful and a place to shelter from the weather. Small children will enjoy exploring the garden paths and bridges over the pond. This is a great spot to meet up...More

Nice place to eat your lunch. Very peaceful amongst the huge trees. Has toilets and BBQs. Not the best small town garden around but it's nice enough to spend some time there relaxing.
