good short walk
May 2021 • Solo
nice spot for a short walk. Easy access to parking. A good place to spot wild birds, we saw a few gang-gang cockatoos. You can walk closer around the rocks of the waterfall but be careful as there are no fences etc.

A lovely waterfall seen at one of the drier times
May 2021
We visited here as part of our two day trip along Reedy Creek.

Whilst the falls did not have a lot of water due to the dry Summer & lack of rainfall so far in Autumn, it still put on a lovely display regardless.

The long run at the top between the granite is quite deep & was structured to give even flow. The viewing platform gives the best view, with the long drop to the large pool at the bottom right in front of & underneath you.

This would be more spectacular after some decent rain, but still was worth looking at.

A good car park for a picnic & good toilets.

Great Wateffall And Well Presented Park
Apr 2021
Woolshed Waterfalls was a big surprise as it was a pretty water fall with water cascading over granite rocks down into a gorge and pool. The park was very well presented with two good viewing areas and all the amentities needed.Well done Parks Victoria.

Gorgeous spot, worth exploring
Apr 2021
Just a lovely spot. A refreshing lack of safety rails!... seriously though worth exploring. Only 4km between the falls and the Cascades near Beechworth. I don’t know how long it takes but imagine would be safer starting at the Falls end as the rocks can be slippery. Take you time and enjoy...

Had a fun time exploring a beautiful area
Apr 2021 • Couples
Easy to reach from Beechworth in about 10 minutes. Car park with toilet facility close to the falls look out and the cascades and pools everyone plays in. If you’re sensible you can access the pools safely, going as far as you comfortably choose but be careful; all that water makes the rocks slippery and there were accidents while I was there - and my adventurous side did get me into spots I had to problem solve my way out of ( never in danger but up was harder than down!!!). Wasn’t hot enough for me to submerge myself fully into pools - water is quite cool - but I did step into most as I climbed down close to the bottom but not the edge; I still can’t work out how those teenage boys got down to the bottom of the fall!!! Could easily have spent a longer time there if bathing was a realistic option and there are limited picnic tables back at Carpark. Great views and fun to explore.

Great place to cool down

Went here to dip our toes and our kids loved it. They were in the water for ages. Obviously can be dangerous as its very slippery but overall a lot of fun.

A very short walk waterfall
Feb 2021 • Couples
An easily accessible waterfall. A very short walk from carpark. There was a few butterflies enjoying the sunshine & water. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, rocks are slippery.

Always love going there.
Beautiful scenery, great for a swim and there is a great 6.5 km hike from there back into town.
Good idea to have 2 cars so you can pick up the one at the falls

I hadn't seen any photos so didn't know what to expect. I turned the corner from the carpark and was amazed. Really interesting for me too, as my Cornish miner ancestor lived at Spring Creek in the 1850s.
