Went to the Hive for a Christmas party. We could get drinks for a few people to start. Then only two per person, then one per person making long queues. When the event was drawing to an end the stairwells were locked and we were forced to wait for elevators. Because we were on the top floor the elevators were full until the lower floors were cleared making it a long wait to leave. Mentioned it wasn’t legal to lock the pedestrian exits and they wouldn’t budge.
Great food with great friends. Wouldn’t go back though.

The entrance fee was $35 per person which was not cheap. You walked from the other side of the track to enter. It was kind of strange.
When you appeared on the stand finally, you couldn't reach the outside ground near the finishing line. I thought that was another ticket to purchase......
I would never know what happened.
There weren't that many people on the first day of carnival.
The race card were quite good on that Sat.
But after I have been to Qld, Vic, SA and WA metropolitan racetracks, I don't think Rosehill was in my top 3 choices....

As a member, the facilities are great. However, on a carnival day like the Golden Slipper the bar service was dreadful. They were understaffed. The average wait for a beer was well over 15 minutes. The lines for food in the members were also ridiculous.

A horse racing fan, could not wait to try it Sydney style, lovely course, on a very busy Saturday. It was. great to see the venue and the overall event was very enjoyable.

Beautiful racecourse and easy to get. We had a table in the members area and was worth it. It provided a table to go back to between races to rest weary feet and with table service for food, wine, coffee. A great view of the finish line.

Visited for Slipper day with 3 couples, as expected the place was packed, that’s fine it’s a big day, but how about having more staff rostered in prominent areas. Sometimes 20 plus minutes waits at bars, ridiculous rules regarding limits of drinks (why not serve by RSA standard and just cut someone off if they are drunk?) it’s ridiculous when normal well behaved people can’t buy everyone in their party a drink if there is more than 4 of you. Nanny state rules and regulations. Also needs to be better planned in regards to the concert afterwards. Won’t return on big race days.

A chance to get dressed up and enjoy a great day out.You can either book into a restaurant and indulge yourself or take a picnic lunch and enjoy the outside entertainment.Try to pick a nice day weather wise and whether you follow the horses or not it is a fun day with family and friends.There are trains at the door and only 10 minutes to parramatta station by bus.

If you enjoy watching horse racing Rosehill Gardens is a excellent track to be at. The facilities are excellent, great variety of food available at reasonable prices as also is the beer, wine and cocktails on offer. You can quite close to the horses before racing and seating offers fantastic views for each race,if you like to bet there are bookies and tote odds to win your small fortune, if only we did.

Always a great day at the races, the food and beverage prices are reasonable, good seating there also and betting facilities are good also.

Are there atms in members enclosure at Rosehill racecourse

We would like to visit Rosehill Gardens when we visit Sydney. I'm a bit confused about what hospitality we can book. I get the impression that most of the hospitality is only available to members, can anyone advise me.
