Beautiful Sydney Sunriser Kayaking Tour

During our 28 years on Sydney Harbour, we know all the top spots to visit. We can explore many different locations depending on the conditions and we will do it in style by using beautiful Australian made lightweight sea kayaks (made by Mirage Sea Kayaks).

On our paddle, it is more enjoyable that we cruise at a leisurely pace, therefore you will only need a moderate level of fitness.

You will need to be at least an intermediate or experienced kayaker.

We do not recommend this tour for beginner paddlers.

Beginner paddlers should first start with our Middle Harbour Eco Tour

Middle Harbour Mangrove Explorer

As civilisation slips away the true beauty of our harbour and it's wildlife will open up before you. This guided experience will only run when there is a large morning high tide, as this will allow us to venture well in between the grey mangroves of Sugarloaf Bay, Scott's Creek or Bantry Bay

This guided experience starts and finishes at Sydney Harbour Kayaks at the Spit Bridge, Mosman, only 8 km (20 mins) from Sydney's CBD.

This experience only will be run when there is a very high-tide in the morning, as this allows us to explore deep under the canopy of the mangroves.

Had a great experience at Sydney Harbour Kayaks' intro to kayaking course. I had been paddling for two years casually prior to the lesson and immediately found the additional skills I learned enabled me to be more confident on the water with no rudder. Hans the guide was very friendly and a great coach.

This is an excellent experience with a great guide. Breakfast on the beach was lovely. Paddling towards the sun rising over North Head was amazing. Highly recommended!

I took the Beginners and Safety classes (free + kayak rental). They were each 3 hours long, very hands on, excellent teachers, and lots of fun. Highly recomemend!

I did the beginners kayaking lesson with Ben last Saturday morning. Despite the very inclement conditions, Ben made the class very enjoyable with his cheery disposition and knowledge, and love of the "physics" of Kayaking. There was plenty of time for him to come to each beginner and give independent advice on each of the new skills we learnt. Therefore despite the rain (rain jackets were provided), we managed to have a satisfying morning and I now feel confident to progress to a guided kayaking tour.
