Leave the mobile phone and iPad behind then go for a couple of days there, you will not regret it. I live in Sydney and enjoyed my two days there thoroughly. My wife and I went for bush walks around north head, accessible from the...More

The site is essentially an up-market hotel butthe deal they did to get such an amazing location was to restore and maintain the buildings used for the Quarantine Station. Entrance is free and there is a minibus to take you down to the beach area...More

Hands on self guided tour of Sydney's old Quarantine Station. Knowledgeable staff in the information center to give you some verbal history and guide you on your journey. Evening ghost tours available. Restaurants by the waters edge for a peaceful drink or meal but watch...More

It always frustrates me when things could be great, but miss the mark due to management issues, and greed. As instructed we arrived half an hour early to catch the minibus. We were there first. Yet when the bus arrived we were mobbed by latecomers,...More

We came here for the day. 3 adults and 3 young children. The weather was glorious so we had a nice walk through the quarantine station, where you can now stay overnight too. Then headed down to the beach. This is a really nice day...More

Went to the Qstation this weekend with the main purpose of going on a ghost tour. The accommodation was average but clean and comfortable: no complaints but hated going to the outhouse type bathroom after the ghost tour 😱👻 it was extremely creepy. The grounds...More

Really disappointed with this tour. Not because of the guide (she was great and did the best she could) but because of drunk idiots in the group. The group was too big with 20 people. I think the groups need to be a lot smaller...More

Loved it! I did this years ago and decided to attend another tour. Again, it was wonderful! We enjoyed learning about the history of the quarantine station and getting to wander around in the night. Great stories and kind of scary! A little longer in...More
