Go at sunset. Take a camera. Can see the Sydney Harbor entrance. Boats in and out. Cliffs. Great place to watch for whales - we didn't see any. Excellent to walk around the Head and enjoy.

There is everything from guided tours around North Head to walking through the old School of Artillery, to strolling along the walking tracks through the bush. Lots of plant life to see. It is rather good and a lot of history. The views from North...More

A great walk where you could see a lot of nature and former military base. On the top is amazing view on to Sydney, Harbour and Ocean. Some time you could see whales fountains from the top!

Hi Chanelle No the walk at North Head Sanctuary is free. Make sure you call into the visitor centre at Manly to collect a map and at the visitor centre at North Fort to learn about the history of the site. Enjoy your visit!

Yes the walk is safe to do on your own. call into the Visitor Centre at North Fort for information about the site.
